Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı; ilkokulda sınıf öğretmeni değişen ilkokul öğrencilerinin eski ve yeni öğretmenleri ile okula yönelik algılarını tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılı içinde Adana ili ve ilçelerinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı beş resmî ilkokulda öğrenim gören amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş 20 gönüllü 4.sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerinin de yer aldığı Repertory Grid Formu ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, öğrenciler tarafından doldurulan repertory grid formlarına yazılan kelimelere verdikleri toplam değerler belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin repertory grid formuna yazdıkları bu kelimeler benzerliklerine göre gruplandırılmıştır. Oluşturulan bu gruplar üzerinden öğrencilerin her birinin puan değerlerinden hareketle ortalamalar, öğrencilerin cinsiyeti, yerleşim yeri, aile ile birlikte yaşama durumları üzerinden hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre araştırmaya katılan tüm öğrencilerin, eski öğretmenlerine yönelik görece en önemli gördükleri grubun kişisel ve duygusal özelliklere ait grup olduğu, öğrencilerin eski öğretmenlerine ilişkin olarak sevgi, güven ve dürüstlük gibi olumlu; kızgınlık, bencillik ve inatçılık gibi olumsuz kişisel ve duygusal özelliklere ait kelimeleri, ödev verme, oyun oynatma, ders işleme gibi derse yönelik özelliklere ait kelimeleri ifade ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin yeni öğretmenlerine yönelik görece en önemli gördükleri grubun kişisel ve duygusal özelliklere ait grup olduğu, öğrencilerin yeni öğretmenlerine ilişkin olarak sabır, dürüstlük ve eğlenceli olma gibi olumlu; öfke ve üzüntü gibi olumsuz kişisel ve duygusal özelliklere ait kelimeleri, disiplin, çok ödev verme ve iyi ders anlatma gibi derse yönelik özelliklere ait kelimeleri ifade ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin okula yönelik görece en önemli gördükleri grubun duygusal özelliklere ait grup olduğu, öğrencilerin okula ilişkin mutluluk, eğlence ve arkadaşlık gibi olumlu duygusal özelliklere ait kelimeleri, okulun konumuyla ilgili olumsuz fiziksel özelliklere ait kelimeleri, disiplin, sorumluluk ve kurallar gibi derse yönelik özelliklere ait kelimeleri ifade ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular tartışılmış ve sonuçlar doğrultusunda önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of elementary school students whose classroom teachers changed during the school year regarding their old and new teachers and the school. The study group consists of 20 volunteer 4th-grade students selected through purposive sampling from five public elementary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Adana province and its districts during the 2023-2024 academic year. Data were collected using a Repertory Grid Form created by the researcher, which also included the students' demographic characteristics. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis techniques. In the analysis of the data, the total values given by the students to the words they wrote on the repertory grid forms were determined. The words written by the students on the repertory grid form were grouped according to their similarities. Based on these groups, averages were calculated from each student's score values, taking into account the students' gender, place of residence, and living situation with their family. According to the findings of the study, all students participating in the study considered the group of personal and emotional characteristics to be the most important group in relation to their former teachers. Students associated positive characteristics such as love, trust, and honesty with their former teachers; anger, selfishness, and stubbornness, as well as words related to characteristics related to the lesson, such as giving homework, playing games, and teaching lessons. It was determined that the group students considered relatively most important in relation to their new teachers was the group associated with personal and emotional characteristics. Students expressed positive personal and emotional characteristics such as patience, honesty, and being fun; negative personal and emotional characteristics such as anger and sadness; and words related to lesson-oriented characteristics such as discipline, giving a lot of homework, and explaining lessons well. It was determined that the group students considered relatively most important in relation to school was the group related to emotional characteristics. Students expressed positive emotional characteristics related to school such as happiness, fun, and friendship; negative physical characteristics related to the school's location; and characteristics related to discipline, responsibility, and rules. The findings obtained from the research were discussed, and recommendations were made based on the results.
