Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli'ne göre hazırlanan 5. ve 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında (1-2) bulunan metinleri, erdem-değer-eylem çerçevesinde incelemektir. Bu amaç çerçevesinde, Maarif Modeline göre hazırlanan ve Öğretim Programları Ortak Metni'ndeki erdem-değer-eylem çerçevesi başlığı altında yer alan değerlerin, 5. ve 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında (1-2) bulunan metinlerde nasıl ve ne düzeyde geçtiği detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Böylece metinlerdeki değerler tespit edilip bu değerlerin temalara ve metin türlerine göre dağılımı verilmiş ve değerler eğitimi açısından önemi ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışma, nitel araştırma türlerinden biri olan“temel nitel araştırma”desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma materyalini 2024-2025 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı'nda okutulmaya başlanan 5. ve 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler doküman incelemesine göre toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, nitel araştırma yönteminin veri analizi çeşitlerinden biri olan betimsel analizle çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda, 5. ve 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında toplamda 60 metnin (her sınıf seviyesindeki kitaplarda 30'ar metin) bulunduğu; 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında en sık geçen değerin sevgi (94), en az geçen değerin tasarruf (2); 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında en sık geçen değerin estetik (106), en az geçen değerin sabır (1) değeri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ortak Metin'de yer alan mahremiyet değerine ise iki sınıf seviyesindeki kitaplarda rastlanmamıştır. Buna göre söz konusu değerlerden bazılarına çok sık yer verilmişken bazı değerlere ise çok az yer verildiği, dolayısıyla değerlerin metinlerde dengeli bir dağılım göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada ulaşılan sonuçlar, alan yazınında yer alan benzer çalışmaların sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırılarak tartışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda çeşitli önerilere yer verilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to examine the texts in the 5th and 6th grade Turkish language textbooks (1-2), prepared according to the Turkish Century Education Model, within the framework of virtue-value-action. Within this framework, the extent to which the values included under the heading of virtue-value-action in the Common Text of Curriculums, prepared according to the Education Model, are present in the texts of the 5th and 6th grade Turkish language textbooks (1-2) has been examined in detail. Thus, the values in the texts were identified, their distribution according to themes and text types was given, and their importance in terms of values education was revealed. The study was conducted according to the“basic qualitative research”design, one of the qualitative research types. The research material consists of the 5th and 6th grade Turkish language textbooks that began to be used in the 2024-2025 academic year. Data were collected through document analysis. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, one of the data analysis types of qualitative research methods. At the end of the study, it was determined that there are a total of 60 texts in the 5th and 6th grade Turkish textbooks (30 texts in each grade level book); the most frequently mentioned value in the 5th grade Turkish textbook is love (94), and the least frequently mentioned value is frugality (2); in the 6th grade Turkish textbook, the most frequently mentioned value is aesthetics (106), and the least frequently mentioned value is patience (1). The value of privacy, which is included in the Common Text, was not found in the books of both grade levels. Accordingly, it was determined that some of these values are mentioned very frequently, while others are mentioned very rarely, and therefore, the values do not show a balanced distribution in the texts. The results obtained in the study were discussed by comparing them with the results of similar studies in the literature. Various suggestions are included at the end of the study.
