Özet
Bu tezde ruh sağlığı çevirmenliği konusu ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı literatürde sıkça değinilen uzman ve çevirmen iş birliğinin etkilerini ortaya koyarak tartışmaya açmaktır. Tez çalışmasında bu amaca hizmet edecek karma yöntem tercih edilmiştir. Tezin birinci ve ikinci bölümünde betimsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çevirmenin değişen rolü ve konumu incelenmiştir. Akabinde ruh sağlığı çevirmenliği alanı çevirmenin rolü ve konumu açısından irdelenmiştir. Literatürde sıkça değinilen iş birliği sahada araştırılmadan önce bir ihtiyaç analizi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler tematik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve akabinde yorumlanmıştır. İş birliğini sahada inceleyebilmek için bir eğitim içeriği oluşturulmuştur. Eğitim içeriği 'Kızılay Kılavuz Kitabı' odak alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Eğitim içeriği terapide iş birliği odak alınarak süreç öncesi, süreç sırası ve süreç sonrası aşamalarını içermektedir. Eğitim çevrimiçi olarak verilmiştir. Katılımcıların eğitimden edindikleri bilgileri dört hafta boyunca sahada uygulamaları sağlanmıştır. Daha sonra veriler deneysel yöntem kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bunun için 'son test kontrol gruplu model' tercih edilmiştir. Bu amaçla; eğitim verilen dört kişilik katılımcılar deney grubu temsil ederken, kontrol grubunu temsil etmek üzere dört kişilik bir grup oluşturulmuştur. Eğitim ve dört haftalık saha uygulamasından sonrasında deney ve kontrol grubuna 'meslekler arası ekip iş birliği değerlendirilmesi ölçeği' uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Mann Whitney U testiyle ölçülmüştür. Ayrıca deney grubu ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bu veriler tematik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve akabinde yorumlanmıştır. Bu tez için birbirini tamamlar nitelikte farklı yöntemlerle veri elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerden hareketle uzmanların ve çevirmenlerin iş birliği içerisinde çalışmalarına duyulan ihtiyaç görünür hale gelmiştir. İş birliği eğitimi sonrası elde edilen nicel veriler anlamsal denilebilecek bir fark göstermese de iş birliğinin olumlu etkileri tüm sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde belirgin şekilde ortaya çıkmıştır.

This thesis addresses the topic of mental health interpreting. The aim of the study is to reveal and discuss the effects of collaboration between experts and translators, a topic frequently discussed in the literature. A mixed-methods approach was chosen for this thesis to serve this purpose. Descriptive research methods were used in the first and second chapters of the thesis. The changing role and position of the interpreters were examined. Subsequently, the field of mental health interpreting was analyzed in terms of the interpreters role and position. Before researching collaboration in the field, a needs analysis was conducted. The data obtained were examined using thematic analysis method and subsequently commented. To examine collaboration in the field, a training content was created. The training content was prepared focusing on the 'Turkish Red Crescent Guidebook'. The training content included before the session, during the session and after the session stages focusing on collaboration in therapy. The training was delivered online. Participants applied the information they acquired from the training in the field for four weeks. Then, the data were analyzed using an experimental method. The 'posttest-only control group design' was preferred. For this purpose; the experimental group consisted of four participants who received training, while a control group was also formed, each representing a four-person group. Following the training and four weeks of field application, the 'Interprofessional Team Collaboration Scale' was administered to both the experimental and control groups. The data obtained were measured using the Mann Whitney U test. In-depth interviews were also conducted with the experimental group. This data was analyzed using thematic analysis method and subsequently commented. Therefore, data for this thesis was obtained using different methods. Based on the data obtained, it was observed that there is a significant need for collaboration between experts and interpreters. Although no significant difference was found in the collaboration training based on quantitative data, the positive effects of collaboration were clearly evident when all the results were evaluated.
