YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZ OZU KOBİ'LER ÇERÇEVESİNDE MOBİLYACILIK SEKTÖRÜNÜN FİNANSMAN SORUNLARI VE ESKİŞEHİR BÖLGESİNDE BİR UYGULAMA Ergin FINDIKLI İşletme Anabilim Dalı Anadolu Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Mayıs, 2001 Danışman: Prof.Dr.Doğan BAYAR Ülkemizde KOBİ'ler hakkında detaylı, kapsamlı ve güvenilir veri sıkıntısı yaşanmaktadır. Merkezi anlamda yapılacak çalışmalar istenilen sonuçlardan uzak kalabilmekte bu nedenle bölgesel ve iller bazında sanayinin yapısını tüm yönleri ile yansıtabilecek çalışmaların yapılmasına önderlik edilmesi gereklidir. Böylelikle sanayiye verilecek destek kapsamlı incelemeler sonucunda oluşturulacak politikalar sayesinde yönlendirilebilecektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmamın birinci bölümünde, KOBİ'leri tanıtmaya çalıştım. Bu bölümde KÖBİ'lerin özelliklerine, ekonomiye katkılarına, sorunlarına ve Türkiye'de KOBİ'lere yardımcı olan kuruluşlara yer verdim. İkinci bölümde yaşamımızın her alanında içice bulunduğumuz kullanım aracımız mobilya ve sektörünü incelemeye çalıştım. Bölüm içinde sektörün Türkiye ekonomisindeki yerine, temel problemlerine, dış ticaretine ve Avrupa Birliği karşılaştırmasına, üretim ve talebine değindim. Üçüncü bölümde KOBİ'ler çerçevesinde mobilya sanayinin finansman sorunlarına değinerek, Türkiye'de bulunan çözüm alternatiflerinden söz edilmiştir. Son bölümde ise Eskişehir'deki Mobilya imalatçılarına yönelik olarak bir anket çalışmasına yer verilerek sektörün sorunları test edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Ill ABSTRACT In our country, it is hard to find detailed, comprehensive and reliable data about small and medium size enterprises. Studies made by government are not able to give desired results and for this reason it is needed to lead regional and provincial studies that can reflect the structure of the industry by all its aspects. So, supports that will be given to the industry can be directed by the policies which will be made by results of the comprehensive studies. From the direction of this purpose, I try to explain the small and medium size enterprises in the first part of the thesis. In this part I point out the characteristics and problems of the small and medium size enterprises, their contributions to the economy and the instutes help small and medium size enterprises in Turkey. In the second part, I try to examine the furniture industry that we are in contact in all aspecsts of our lifes. In this part; I mention the production, demant, foreign trade of the sector. I mention the place of the sector in Turkey and main problems. I also compare the sector with European Union. In the third part, I mention the financial problems of furniture industry from the viewpoint of small and medium size enterprises. Solution alternatives in our country are mentioned as well. In the last part, a survey towards the furniture manufacturers in Eskişehir is carried out. Through this survey the problems of the sector are tested.
