Özet
Ebû Hayyân'ın tefsirinde sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerine yaklaşımı ve bu rivayetleri kullanma yönteminin yanı sıra müellifin, sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerini aktarırken takip ettiği usul de ele alınacaktır. Bu doğrultuda o, genel ve kendine has, çeşitli ifade ve tabirleri kullanmakla beraber hadis ve tefsir kaynaklarından geniş ölçüde istifade etmekte, rivayetleri müellif, eser ve râvi adıyla zikrederken bazen de herhangi bir kaynak belirtmeksizin nakletmektedir. Ebû Hayyân'ın rivayetleri çoğunlukla ihtisar ederek verdiği, isnad konusunda ise tek tip bir yöntem benimsemeyip farklı aktarım biçimleri kullandığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca müellif, sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerini dil ve kıraat ilimleriyle ilişkilendirerek rivayetleri âyetlerin anlamını belirlemede etkin bir şekilde kullandığı anlaşılmaktadır. Yine müfessirin sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerini âyetleri daha iyi anlamada belirleyici bir unsur olarak gördüğü mülahaza edilmektedir. Buna göre Ebû Hayyân'ın sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerini aktarmadaki ölçütlerinin; rivayetleri değerlendirmeksizin aktarmak, bunlar arasında kendine has nedenlerle tercih ve tenkitte bulunmak, sebeb-i nüzûlleri çok uzatmayı doğru bulmayarak ihtisar etmek ve yalnızca sıhhat durumu problemli olmayan rivayetleri aktarmak gibi temel hususlardan oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu konuda Vâhidî (öl. 468/1076), Zemahşerî (öl. 538/1144) ve İbn Atiyye (öl. 541/1147) gibi müfessirleri isim vererek eleştirmesi onun bu konudaki hassasiyetini ortaya koymaktadır. Bununla beraber sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerinin uzun uzadıya ele alınması gibi eleştirdiği bazı hususlara kendisinin düştüğü de anlaşılmaktadır. Ayrıca sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetleri aktarılırken Peygambere ve Al-i beyti'ne uygun olmayan yorum ve değerlendirmelerin yapılmasını doğru bulmayarak tenkit ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu durum, onun sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerini yalnızca nakleden değil, aynı zamanda değerlendiren bir müfessir olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak Ebû Hayyân'ın, tefsirinde sebeb-i nüzûl rivayetlerine son derece önem atfettiği görülmüştür.

The approach of Abu Hayyan to the narrations of the occasions of revelation (asbab al- nuzul) in his exegesis, his method of utilizing these narrations, and the procedure he followed while conveying them are addressed. In this regard, while he employs various general and unique expressions and terms, he draws extensively from hadith and exegesis sources, sometimes citing narrations by the name of the author, work, or narrator, and at other times conveying them without specifying any source. It is observed that Abu Hayyan mostly gives the narrations in an abbreviated form and does not adopt a uniform method regarding the chain of transmission (isnad), using different modes of conveyance instead. Furthermore, it is understood that the author effectively uses the narrations of the occasions of revelation in determining the meaning of the verses by associating them with the sciences of linguistics and recitations (qira'at). It has also been revealed that the commentator regards these narrations as a fundamental criterion and a decisive element for a better understanding of the verses. Accordingly, it has been determined that Abu Hayyan's criteria for conveying the narrations of the occasions of revelation consist of fundamental aspects such as conveying the narrations without evaluation, making preferences and criticisms among them for reasons unique to himself, summarizing them as he does not find it correct to extend them excessively, and conveying only those narrations whose authenticity is not problematic. His criticism of commentators such as al-Wahidi (d. 468/1076), al-Zamakhshari (d. 538/1144) and Ibn Atiyya (d. 541/1147) by name reveals his sensitivity on this subject. However, it is also understood that he occasionally falls into some of the issues he criticizes, such as dealing with the narrations of the occasions of revelation at great length. Additionally, it has been identified that he criticizes the making of comments and evaluations that are inappropriate for the Prophet and his Ahl al-Bayt during the transmission of these narrations. This situation shows that he is not merely a transmitter of the narrations of the occasions of revelation but also a commentator who evaluates them. In conclusion, it is understood that Abu Hayyan attributes great importance to the narrations of the occasions of revelation in his exegesis.
