BİR TARAFLI AĞIRLIKLI ÖTELEME OPERATOR SİSTEMLERİ İLE ÜRETİLMİŞ BAZI OPERATÖR CEBİRLERİ ÖZET Kendine eşlenik olmayan operatörlerin birçok özelliğini taşıyan ve operatör teorisinde önemli yer tutan bir taraflı ağırlıklı öteleme operatörleri, birçok operatör sınıfına model teşkil eder. Dolayısıyla operatörlerin genel teorisindeki problemleri, bu operatörler için çözmek, teorinin genişletilmesi ve daha genel bir çözümünün verilmesine olanak sağlar. Bunların ışığında, bu çalışmada bir taraflı ağırlıklı öteleme operatör sistemleri ile üretilmiş bazı operatör cebirleri incelenmiştir. Von Neumann'ın yaptığı çalışmalar ile başlayan simetrik operatör cebirlerinin genel teorisi geçen süre zarfında elde edilmiştir. Simetrik operatör cebirlerinin aksine, simetrik olmayan operatör cebirlerin genel teorisi henüz elde edilememiştir. Bu yüzden bu çalışmada incelenen bazı simetrik olmayan operatör cebirlerin yapısı genel teorinin oluşmasında yarar sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm olan girişte kısaca çalışmanın tarihçesi ve içeriği açıklanmıştır. ikinci bölümde çalışmanın genelinde kullanılan temel kavramlara ve bunlarla ilgili bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, tezin özgün bölümleri olan üçüncü ve dördüncü bölümlerdeki teoremlerin kanıtlanmasında gerekli olan önermelere ve teoremlere yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde bir taraflı ağırlıklı öteleme operatör sistemlerinin üniter denkliği, benzerliği, ağırlıklı dizisel uzayda fonksiyonel modeli ve diğer özellikleri incelenmiş, bu operatör sistemlerinin fonksiyonel modelinin olması için gerek ve yeter koşul bulunmuş ve bu fonksiyonel modelin yardımıyla bu sistemler ile üretilen operatör cebirlerin polidisk(A(Ap)) ve küre(i4(Bp)) cebirlerine izometrik izomorf olması için gerek ve yeter şartlar elde edilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, polidisk(A(Ap)) veya küre(A(jBp)) cebirlerine izometrik izomorf olan bir taraflı ağırlıklı öteleme operatör sistemi A = (Aı,A2,...,Ap) ve J = (jı, j2,..., jP) multi-indeksi olmak üzere AB(J) = B(J)A 1 dir. Ayrıca jVlar AB^ = B^A şartım sağlayanların en küçüğüdür. Yukarıdaki şartlan sağlayan A = (Aı,A2,...,Ap) ve B = (£ı, fî2,..., Bp) sistemleri ile üretilensimetrik ve değişmeli olmayan operatör cebirlerin yapısı incelenmiştir. Bu cebirlerin maksimal iki taraflı idealleri ve maksimal sol ideallerinin Â2'nin tek bir noktası tarafından belirlendiği gösterilmiş ve indirgenemeyen tasvirleri bulunmuştur. Bu cebrin tüm indirgenemez tasvirlerinin sonlu boyutlu olduğu kanıtlanmıştır. Son bölümde, tezden elde edilen sonuçlar açıklanmış ve bu çalışmanın daha sonra nasıl bir araştırmaya önayak olacağı belirtilmiştir.

SOME OPERATOR ALGEBRAS GENERATED BY SYSTEMS OF UNILATERAL WEIGHTED SHIFT OPERATORS SUMMARY Unilateral weighted shifts which have many properties of non-self adjoint operators and take an important part of operator theory constitute to model many operator classes. Therefore solving the problems in general operator theory for these operators enables to extend the theory and to find a more general solution. In light of these facts, in this work, some operator algebras generated by systems of the unilateral weighted shifts are investigated. General theory of symmetric operator algebras which begins with Von Neumann's works are establish to this date. On the contrary of symmetric operator algebras, the general theory of non-symmetric operator algebras are not obtained yet. Therefore, the structure of some non-symmetric algebras which are studied in this work will be of help in the formation of the general theory. This work organized in five chapters. In the first Chapter, being the introduction, a history and the content of the work are explained briefly. In Chapter two, the main concepts and the related topics used in this work are given. In addition, the propositions and theorems which are necessary to prove the theorems in Chapters three and four, forming the original contributions of the thesis. In Chapter three, the unitary equivalence, the similarity, the functional model in weighted sequence space and other properties of unilateral weighted shift operator systems are examined and the necessary and sufficient condition required for the functional model of this systems of operators is found and, necessary and sufficient conditions for the algebras generated by this systems which are isometrically isomorphic to the polydisc(A(Ap)) and bati.(A(Bp)) algebras are found with the help of this functional model. In chapter four, the unilateral weighted shift operator system A = (Ai,A2,...,Ap) which is isometrically isomorphic to the polydisc(i4(Ap)) or baR(A(Bp)) algebra and the system B = (Bi,B2,-.;Bp) which satisfies the conditions AB(J> = B^A AkB% = B{kAk (k = l,2,...,p) and ABk = BkAi (i ^ k) (i,k = 1,2,...,p) where J = (jiihi-dp) *s a multi-index, are considered. Here B^ = (B{1,B$i,...,Bp') and the jks are greater than 1 forat least one k and jt's are the least values satisfying AB^ = B^A. The structure of non-symmetric and non-commutative operator algebras generated by the systems A = (Ai, A2,..., Av) and B = (B\, B2, ¦¦¦, Bp) which satisfy the conditions above are investigated. It is shown that the maximal two-sided ideals and maximal left ideals of these algebras determined by a single point of Â2 and the irreducible representations are found. It is proved that all irreducible representations of this algebra are finite dimensional. In the final chapter, the results which are obtained from the thesis are explained and it is stated how this work will lead to further research.
