Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim okullarında 6. ve 7. sınıflarda Resim-İş derslerinde, araç gereçlerin seçilmesinde ve sanatsal etkinliklerde alınması gerekli sağlık ve güvenlik önlemlerinin, yeterince uygulanıp uygulanmadığım bulmaktır. Ayrıca bu araştırma resim-iş öğretmenlerinin ve öğrencilerinin gerekli sağlık ve güvenlik önlemlerini alma yeterliklerini ortaya çıkarmayı da amaçlamaktadır. Bu araştırmaya, Nebahat Keskin İ.Ö.O. ve Hamdullah Suphi İ.Ö.O.'dan iki Resim-İş öğretmeni ve 4 sınıf katılmıştır. Her iki okuldan birer 6. sınıf gözlenmiştir. Bu sınıflara anket uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca her iki okuldan seçilen birer 7. sınıfa da sadece konu ile ilgili anket uygulanmıştır. Bu araştırmada hem nicel (anket), hem de nitel (gözlem, görüşme) teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Nicel verileri toplamak için öğrencilere, öğretmenlerin araç gereçlerin seçilmesinde ve etkinliklerde alınması gerekli sağlık ve güvenlik önlemlerini uygulamadaki yeterliklerine ilişkin anket uygulanmış; aynı ankette fiziki koşulların sağlık ve güvenlik önlemlerine etkisi de öğrenilmeye çalışılmıştır. Nitel veri kaynakları, öğretmenlerin araç gereçlerin seçiminde ve sanatsal etkinliklerde sağlık önlemleri alma yeterliklerini öğrenmeye yönelik görüşme sorularından ve gözlem formundan oluşmuştur. Her iki okulda da II. yarıyıl boyunca 6. sınıfların resim-iş dersleri gözlenmiştir. Araştırmanın gözlem aşaması, Nebahat Keskin İ.Ö.O'nda 8 hafta, Hamdullah Suphi İ.Ö.O.'da 4 hafta sürmüş olup, gözlem boyunca öğretmenler ve öğrenciler, gözlem formundaki niteliklere göre izlenmiş ve sonuçlar kaydedilmiştir. Nicel verilerin analizinde yüzde(%) tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel sonuçları resim-iş derslerinde öğretmenlerin yeterince sağlık ve güvenlik önlemi almadıklarını ortaya koymuştur. Nitel veriler ise, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin tercih ettikleri sanatsal malzemeler ve tehlikeleri hakkında bilgisiz olduklarım göstermiştir.Bu araştırma, sanatsal etkinliklerin uygulandığı resim-iş derslerinde araç gereçlerin seçiminde ve fiziki koşulların sağlanmasında yeterli sağlık ve güvenlik önlemleri alınmasının ihmal edilmemesi gerektiğini ortaya koymuştur.

The aim of this research study is to find out if the health and security measures which must be taken are applied or not at primary schools in the sixth and seventh classes at the art lessons for choosing materials to be used and in the applied artistic activities. On the other hand, this study aims to manifest the competency of the art instructors and students for taking the necessary health and security measures. Two art instructors and the fourth class from the Primary Schools of Nebahat Keskin and of Hamdullah Suphi participated to this study. Only one sixth class from each school was observed and survey was applied to these classes. Besides, to only one seventh class chosen from each school, just a survey about the subject was applied. In this research, quantitative (survey) and qualitative (observation, interview) methods were used. For collecting the quantitative data, a survey for learning the instructors and students competency at taking necessary health and security measures choosing materials and in the activities and the influence of the physical conditions on health and security measures to be taken in the art lessons, was applied. Qualitative data resources consist of the interview questions and observation forms to learn the instructors competency at taking health and security measures choosing materials, in the artistic activities. In both schools the art lessons of the sixth classes had been observed for a semester. The observation part of the research lasted 8 weeks in the Primary School of Nebahat Keskin and 4 weeks in the Primary School of Hamdullah Suphi during observation the instructors and the students were observed and registered according to the qualities on the observation form. At the analysis of the quantitative data percentage technique was used. The quantitative results of the research demonstrated that at the art lessons the instructors and the students were not taking health and security measures, choosing materials and in artistic activities. And the qalitative data demonstrated that the instructors and the students had no knowledge about the artistic materials that they were using and thejj dangers.IV For this reason,it will be better, if sufficient health and security measures are taken at the art lessons, in which artistic activities are applied, for choosing materials and in the physical conditions.
