Özet

Şekil yazı ve grafiklerin, kısaca orijinallerin baskıya hazır hale getirilme işlemi baskı hazırlık yada baskı öncesi diye adlandırılır. Matbaacılığın gelişimi ile beraber hazırlık aşamasıda değişim geçirmiştir. Günümüzde baskı hazırlık aşaması bilgisaya rın sektöre girmesiyle eski hantal ve büyük cihazlardan kurtulmuş ve bir çalışma oda sı içinde çakşır hale gelmiştir. Bu sebeple bu aşamaya“Masaüstü Yayıncılık”da den mektedir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde baskı hazırlık aşamasının gelişimi ile çalışma yöntemi belirtilerek konuya girilmiş ve çalışmanın amacından bahsedilmiştir. ikinci bölümde masaüstü yayıncılık sisteminin donanım ve yazılım ihtiyaçları ile verilerin dijital olarak nasıl işlendiği incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise matbaacıların bilmesi gereken temel renk bilgisi verilmiş, sistemde kullanılan renk modelleri ve renk ölçüm metodları incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde reprodüksiyonun gelişim süreci içinde renk üretiminde gü venirliğin sağlanma yöntemi anlatıldı. Sistemin günümüzdeki çalışma yöntemi olan renk yönetim sistemi kapsamında renk doğruluğu ve güvenirliğinin sağlanma mantı ğı anlatılmıştır. Sistemin çalışması için gerekli olan baskı hazırlık ve baskı şartlan açıklanmış, renk yönetiminin parçalan yazılıp gerekli olan öğelerin üretim yöntemle ri belirtilmiştir. Cihazlar arasındaki renk evren çevrimlerinin yöntemleri açıklanmış tır. Renk yönetiminin diğer fonksiyonu olan prova sistemi incelenmiş, monitörde ve dijital provada doğru renk simülasyonu için yapılması gerekenler anlatılmıştır. Deneysel bölümde ise iki farklı matbaada çeşitli tram sıklıkları ile değişik bas kı altı malzemelerine baskı yapılmıştır. Bu baskılar ile renk yönetimi için gerekli profiller oluşturulmuş, böylelikle matbaaların profili çıkartılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuç lar birbirleri ve dünya standartları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Bütün bu karşılaştırmalar ve çalışmalar sonucunda Türk Matbaacılık Sektörü 'nün baskı koşullarında renk üretimi, güvenirliği ve provası için yeni teknikler geliştirilmiştir. Prepress means that to make the originals such as photographes, letters and grapgic designs to get ready for printing process. During the development of the print ing, several process prepress technologies are improved. Today a prepress department can be fit in a medium size office by the development and the usage of the comput ers for the prepress operations. These developments changes the name of the prepress process in to Desktop Publishing. In the first part of this thesis, the development of the prepress process was explained and the aim of the thesis was mentioned. In the second part of the thesis, the components of the Desk Top Publishing sys tems such as hardware and software were explained and the process of the digital data processing was examined. In the third part of the study, the basic color theory which should be known by the printers was explained and the color models and the measuring methods were examined. In the third, part the assurance of the color production during the development of the reproduction process was explained.The recent color assurance method called Color Management System was explained. The pre requisities of the color manage ment for the prepress and the printing processes were exemined. The proof system which is the other component of the color management was studied and the tech niques of the monitor and the digital proof calibration for the correct simulation were explained. In the experimental part of the thesis, the trial prints were done with different screen rulings on different subsrates in two printing houses.With these trial prints, the profiles of the prints and the printing houses were achieved. These profiles were com pared with each other and these were also compared with the world standart profiles. As a result of these comparisons and studies the new techniques were developed for the color production, color assurance and the color proofing in the printing con ditions of Turkish printing market.
