THE ADSORPTION OF DYES ONTO OAK ACORNS AND DİATOMİTE SUMMARY Keywordsrtextile wastewater,Diatomite, oac acorns (valonia), bazic dye,acid dye,adsorption,isotherm. In this study, the adsorption of basic dyes, Basic Blue4L, Basic Red 2L and Methilene Blue, Acid Blue BW, Acid Red N2RBL, Acid Yellow N7GL onto diatomit and oac acorns were investigated by changing the parameters which include particle size,pH, agitation time and rate, initial concentration, adsorbent mass and temparature. So, the optimum conditions for maximum dye adsorption were determined. At the end of the study, it was found hat nagitation rate and temperature have not very much effect on adsorption. When the effect of particle size on the adsorption was examined, that the particle size have the highest adsorption capacity werw found to be 3 15 um meşe palamudu tırnağı and 53 um for daitomite. When the effect of pH on the adsorption was studied,it was concluded that the adsorption capacities are well at 8,0 for BM 4L, 7,9 for BK 2L, 7,7 for MM,2 for AM BW,AK N2RBL and AS N7GL. It is observed that speed of the mixtures and masss of the adsorbent have no more effect, although in experimants 300 rotation Per minute and 1,5 g adsorbent mass has been selected.lt is founded that, raice in the temperature resulted the decreased adsortion output hence, it is sufKcent to work at room temperature. With the increased initial dye consentration, despite constant adsorbent mass, amount of the adsorbated dye concentration increased. This condation proves high adsorbent capacity. XV
