ÖZET Dengesiz Köthe Uzaylar ında Bessaga tahmini ve Quasi -equivalence Jasser H. SARSOUR Fen ve Edebiyat Fakültesi Matematik Bölümü, Doktora Tezi Tez Yöneticisi: Doç Dr Zafer NURLU 41 Sayfa, Haziran 1991 E = K(ar) bir Köthe uzayı olsun. E'nin herhangi iki (e ), (f ) bazını birbirine Te = t f,, bağıntısıyla dönüştüren bir r izomorfizması var ise (e ) QE (f ) yazılır ve E uzayı QEP özelli ğine sahiptir denir (burada (t ) skaler bir dizi ve ît doğal n sayıların bir permutasyonunu göstermektedir). E'nin her tümle ne bil ir ve bazı olan altuzayının bazı E'nin bir bazının bir alt dizisine QE ise. E Bessaga tahminini gerçekler denir. Bu çalışmada her dengesiz Köthe uzayının Bessaga tahminini gerçeklediğini ve dengesiz Köthe uzaylarının bazı olan tümle nebi li r altuzaylarının da dengesiz olduğunu gösteriyoruz. Ayrıca E".Eo Bessaga tahminini sağlayan, (E,E ) e X olan Köthe uzayları ise bazı ek koşullar altında E=E eE uzayının da Bessaga tahminini gerçeklediğini gösteriyoruz. Bu şekildeki E uzayları yine belli koşullar altında tek parçalanabilme özelliğine (unique decomposition property) de sahiptir.

ABSTRACT Bessaga's conjecture,and Quasi-equivalence property in unstable kothe spaces Jasser H. SARSOUR Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Math, Ph. D. Thesis Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Zafer NURLU 41 pages, June 1991 A Köthe space E = K(ar) satisfies QEP if and only if all unconditional bases of E are QE. E satisfies Bessaga's conjecture if F is a space with basis, which is isomorphic to a complemented subspace of E.then the basis of F is QE to a subsequence of a basis of E. In this work we show that all unstable Köthe spaces satisfy Bessaga's conjecture and that every complemented subspace with basis of an unstable Köthe space is an unstable Köthe space. We also show that if E=Ej ® E2, (EpE^eK and E. satisfies Bessaga's conjecture then E satisfies the conjecture under some assumptions. n At the end we show that if E-e d and E =.©,E. then E 1 1= 1 1 satisfies QEP under certain conditions and it has unique decomposition property.
