SUMMARY STUDENTS OPTIONS ABOUT THE IMPACT OF GUIDACE SYSTEM IN THE PROCESS OF TRANSITION FROM SECONDARY EDUCATION TO HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE TURKISH EDUCATION SYSTEM (CASE OF IZMIR PROVINCE MENEMEN DISTRICT) Kewords: Secondary education, higher education, guidance system. The aim of this survey is to draw the attention of having problems about orientation while students are passing from high school to university in The system of Turkish education and how much this orientation is effective preparing the university. Furhermore this study aims to present data to the authorities to discuss topics and to benefit from data. By the help of this survey, the point of view of some students who are attending at 1 1'1' grades and preparing university. The survey took place in some high school students in Menemen. İzmir. The data received from tools of the data collecting is analysed by SPSS and it is examined by Anova and T-test techniques. In this survey which has been made above the effectual of orientation from the high school to university in the system of The Turkish education has found the data in short below according to the variables of the high school students, the sort of high school, the level of mother and father education, family income and the place of family recidence. When they choose high school, they effect whether a diploma which they will have taken should prepare both job and without gaining the university have a job. The other factors are the high school which has been known a good school and having a lot of chance to go to the university. If we think the aspect of orientations, students will take a decision that is about their future in the high school and they think that this orientation isn't enough for us. Mostly they want to have a orientation class before choosing the high school to be aware of their interests and abilities. According to the students views, they want to use the area coefficient among high schools. They've determined that The choosen area and area's subjects in their schools will help to go to university. Furthermore students' choices to go to university mustn't be excluding the areas of high school.
