Özet
Tefsîr, Kur'ân'ın anlaşılmasını kendisine hedef edinmiş bir ilimdir. Bir başka ifadeyle, Kur'ân'ı amacına uygun olarak anlayıp yorumlamaktır. Kur'ân, İnzal olunduğu ilk günden beri tefsirine başlanan ve daha sonra üzerinde pek çok çalışmanın yapıldığı bir kitaptır. Ibnü'l-Arefe de kendi çağının insanına Kur'ân'ı, anlaşılır bir üslûp ile tefsîr etmiş müfessirlerdendir. Bu çalışmada, İbnü'l-Arefe'nin hayatı, yaşadığı çevrenin ilmî, siyasî yapısı ve Kur'ân'ı tefsîr ediş metodu tespit edilip değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın ana amacı İbnü'l-Arefe'nin Kur'ân'ı tefsîr ediş metodunun saptanması ve bunun örneklerle ortaya konmasıdır. Bu amaçla Ibnü'l-Arefe ve tefsîri hakkında öncelikle araştırmalar yapılmış, daha sonra yapılan bu araştırmalar ışığında İbnü'l-Arefe'nin tefsîri baştan sona titizlikle okunmuştur. Bu esnada, hangi kaynaklardan yararlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler konu başlıkları altında toplandıktan sonra, söz konusu konu başlıkları iki bölümde değerlendirilmiştir. Giriş bölümünde ise çalışmanın temel esasları ve metodu verilmiş olup, tez bir değerlendirmeyle son bulmaktadır.

Commentary is a learninngs aiming to understanding of the Koran. In other words, it is understanding and interpretation to the Koran with appropriate of it topics that the persons will perceive adn comment appropriate to aim of the Koran have to be necessary opinion of them In the beginning. The Koran is a book started to its commentary since first day of the Inspiration and afterwards made a lot of study about it. İbnü'1-Arefe was olso from commentators to the Koran with intelligible style to the peoples of his age. In this study, it had been evaluated that the life of İbnü'1-Arefe and the scientific and political structure of which he had lived in. The main aim of the study to be fixed that İbnü'1-Arefe's style of commentary of the Koran and to be exposed with samples. With this aim, it had been made, first of all, researches about of ibnu'l-Arefe and his Commentary, afterwards, the Commentary of lbnü'1-Arefe had been read fastitiously from beginning to end in the light of this researches made. Meantime, it had been fixed that which he had utulized sources. After the collection the acquired data underneath the subject titles, the aforesaid subject titles had been evaluated in two chapters. In the introduction chapter too, the basic foundations and methods of the study which had been given, the thesis ends with a conclusion.
