Özet (Çeviri)
THE FREQUENCY OF HLA CLASS I (A AND B) AND CLASS II (DR) ALLELES IN PATIENTS WITH BLADDER CANCER SUMMARY There are so many etiologic factors performed in the bladder cancer, which is the second most common urologic cancer. In the different races and nations who exposure the similar factors, it has not seen in the same incidence. This difference has evoked the probability of relation with bladder cancers and human leukocyte antigens system that is the genetic identity of races and nations and located in the major histocompatibility complex region of 6th chromosome's short arm. In our study, the frequency of HLA class I (A and B) and class II (DR) alleles of 27 patients with histologically proven urothelial bladder cancer who were living in Trakya region since last three generation was compared with the frequency of HLA class I (A and B) and class II (DR) alleles of 67 healthy volunteers who were also living in Trakya region since last three generation. Typing of HLA was performed by using the low resolution molecular genetic techniques. Statistical analysis was made by using the Chi-square test. In our study, it was determined that HLA A*31, HLA B*15 and HLA B*18 alleles can be facilitative for bladder cancers. There was no protective HLA allele for bladder cancers. In patients with invasive bladder cancer HLA A*1 and HLA DR*4 alleles, in patients with low grade bladder cancer HLA A*26 and HLA B*15 alleles, in patients with high grade bladder cancer HLA A*1 and HLA DR*13 alleles, in patients 45with primarily bladder cancer HLA B*15 allele and in patients with recurrent bladder cancer HLA DR*13 allele were higher, but not significant statistically.
