Özet

Türk romanı II. Meşrutiyet'in ilanından sonra, Doğu-Batı tartışmalarını, yanlış Batılılaşmanın getirdiği sorunları, topluma duyarlı, yönetimi eleştiren, geçmişine ve yaşadığı topraklara sahip çıkan ferdin durumunu irdeleyen bir anlatı türüne dönüşür. II. Meşrutiyet' ten sonra iyice kuvvetlenen ve bu dönüşümde büyük pay sahibi olan Türkçülük akımı, konuların bu yönde değişmesiyle, romanların şahıs kadrolarında hayli yer tutmaya başlayan yabancılara da yeni bir bakış açısı getirir. Amacımız, II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi olarak alman 1908-1918 yıllan arasında yazılmış romanlarda yer alan yabancı tipleri tespit ve tahlil etmek suretiyle romancıların, yabancıları ele alış biçimlerini belirlemektir. Güçlü sanatçıların, edebî devreleri oluşturduklarını göz önüne alarak, dönemin fikir ve sanat anlayışına yön veren isimlerin tez kapsamına alınmasını, inceleme sonuçlarını dönemin genel tutumu olarak yansıtmak açısından doğru bulduk. Bu nedenle, Halide Edip Adıvar, Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar Müfide Ferit Tek ve Reşat Nuri Güntekin bu çalışmada dikkate alınan isimler oldu. İnceleme yaparken, ele alınan romanların özetleri, yabancı tiplerin olay kurgusu içindeki yerlerini belirlemekte faydalı olacağını düşündüğümüz için, teze dahil edildi. Tipler, sosyo-ekonomik durumları, mensubu oldukları kavim, romanın diğer karakterleriyle ilişkileri, taşıdıkları misyon ve yazarın onlara bakış açısı bakımlarından, objektif bir biçimde tahlil edildi. İsimlerin sıralanmasında, tiplerin uyrukları dikkate alınırken, aynı uyruğa ait birden çok yabancının dizilişinde ise, yer aldıkları romanların kronolojik sıralamadaki yeri önem kazanmıştır. Yine, yabancılara bakış açısını toplu değerlendirmede kolaylık sağlaması açısından, önce kadın tipler, sonra da erkek tipler ayrı ayrı incelendi. Tahlillerimizin sonucunda, bu dönem romanlarında yabancıların önemli bir bölümünü, yerli azınlıklar ile Avrupalıların oluşturduğu ve bunların, genellikle İstanbul'da yaşadıkları tespit edildi. Bu yabancılar, ahlakî bakımdan düşkün kadınlar, evlilik kurumunu önemsemeyen erkekler, aileyi çökerten eğlence kadınları, müspet vasıflı mürebbiyeler, İstanbul'un zengin konaklarında değişik işlerde çalışan azınlıklar, politik bir kimlikle karşımıza çıkan Orta Asyalılar olarak genel anlamda birkaç grupta toplanırlar.

After the proclanation of II. Constitution, Turkish novel changes into a kind of explanation that discusses the arguments of east-west, problems which have been brought with wrong westernization and the position of a person who is sensible about society and criticizes direction, lays claim to his past and the land which he is living on. With the change of the subjects in this respect, the Turkism trend that has become more powerful after II. Constitution and has a big role in this transformation, brings a new point of view to the foreigners who have begun to take a lot of roles in the person cadre of novels. Our purpose is to define how the novelists take the foreignersup, by the help of stabilization and analysis the foreign characters which take part in the novels that were written in the period between 1908-1918 which is called the term of II. Constitution. By taking into account that the powerful artists from the literary cycles, we considered it right to have the people who direct the construction of thought and art, in the inclusiveness of thesis in order to show the results of research as a general procedure of the term. So, Halide Edip Adıvar, Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar, Müfide Ferit Tek, and Reşat Nuri Güntekin are the people who are paid attention in this study. Since we thought that the summaries of the novels which were taken up would be useful in defining the situations of the foreign characters in the incident montage, all there were inserted to the thesis. The characters objectively from the points of their socioeconomic conditions, the ethnics which they belong to, their relations with the other characters of term, the missions that they have and the writer's point of view to them were analyzed by objectively. While the nationalities of the characters are being taken into consideration in ranging of the names, in the ranging of the foreigners who belenged to the same nation, the novel's in which they involved, position in the chronological order has had importance. Again, in order to supply facility in collective evaluating the point of view to the foreigners, firstly the woman characters, secondly the man characters have been examined seperately. In conclusion of our analysis the important part of foreigners in the novels at this period this important parts constituted local minorities with Europeans, and the important part of them dived in Istanbul and all these points were analyzed by us. In general these foreigns gather in several groups being as decayed women in the point of view of morals, men who don't pay attention to matrimony association, diversion women who demoralize families and the governesses with positive qualities the minorities who work at different situtions in Istanbul's rich mansions and Middle Asians who shows political identity.
