In our study, we have examined 20 patients affected by aphacic glaucoma. Our findings' are as follows; 60 - 75 age group constitutes the majority,, Female patients are a littli, "bit more than men patients? Left eye glaucoma events are more than right eye events, Aphacic glaucoma caused by various complications follofe ing a- catharct operations, constütüies the majority of events in oiar sa mple group. Among those various complications uveal reaction alone has a share of 25 %, uveal reaction together, with. presence of corpus vitreus at the anterior c- hamber has a share of 37,5 % So, uveal reaction in total has a share of 62,5 %. This result shows that more cauti on has to be shown as far as sterilization is concerned,, Vision has decreased in 25 % of our events, stayed at the same previous level in 45 % of our events j,and increased in 15 % of our events. 15 % of the patients received medical therapy, 50 % received surgical therapy, 20 % received medical therapy ' together with surgical therapy. 3 absolute events were enucleated. Cyclodialise and Scheie operations had almost the same success»
