Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlk öğretim sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin orantılıdoğru parçaları ve benzer üçgenler ünitesini Çoklu Zeka kuramına göre öğretimi ilegeleneksel öğretiminin öğrencilerin matematik başarıları, matematiksel tutumlarıüzerindeki etkilerini ve bunların cinsiyet ile ilişkilerini incelemektir. Araştırmadakontrol gruplu ön test- son test deneysel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Deneygrubunda Çoklu Zeka öğrenme teknikleri, kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel öğretimyöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma alt-soysa ekonomik düzeye sahip bir ilköğretimokulunun 8. sınıf öğrencileri ile (40 kız 29 erkek, n=69) matematik dersindeyapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri başarı testleri, Çoklu Zeka Alanları Ölçeği veMatematik Tutum ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veri analizinde Aritmetik Ortalama,Standart Sapma, t-Testi, Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonundaÇoklu Zeka kuramına dayalı öğrenme yöntemlerinin öğrencilerin matematikbaşarısını artırdığı saptanmıştır. Çoklu Zeka kuramına dayalı öğrenme yöntemlerininöğrencilerin matematiksel tutumlarını etkilediği ve geleneksel öğretim yöntemleri ilearasındaki farkın önemli olduğu bulunmuştur. Çoklu Zeka kuramına dayalı öğrenmeyöntemlerinin, öğrencilerin matematiksel tutumlarını etkilediği ve gelenekselöğretim yöntemleri ile arasındaki farkın önemli olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of this research is to study the Multiple İntelligences LearningTraditional Teaching on the mathematics achievement, mathematical attitude ofstudents and the relationship of gender with these in primary school, second level,eighth grades. Pretest- posttest experimental design with control was used for theresearch. Multiple İntelligences Techniques were used for the experimental groupand Traditional Teaching Methods were used for the control group. The researchwas carried out at a primary school, in mathematics lessons of eighth grades ( 40female, 29 male, n=69 ) with low socio-economic backgrounds. The data of theresearch were gathered with Achievement Test, Multiple Intelligences Scale andMathematic Attitude Scale. Mean, Standard Deviation, t- Test, Analysis of Variancewere used to analyze the data. At the end of the research, it has been yielded thatMultiple Intelligences Methods add to the mathematics achievement of the students,that the difference is statistically significant favoring the males, and that MultipleIntelligences Metods affect the mathematical attitude of the students. The differencebetween Multiple Intelligences Teaching and Metods is significant.
