OKULÖNCES EĞ T MDEB LG SAYAR DESTEKL EĞ T M N ROLÜ(Yüksek Lisans Tezi)Ahmet Ömer KACARGAZ ÜN VERS TESFEN B L MLER ENST TÜSÜEkim 2006ÖZETOkulöncesi eğitim kurumlarına devam eden altı yaş çocuklarına sayı(1'den 10'akadar) ve şekil (kare, daire, üçgen, dikdörtgen) kavramlarını kazandırmadaBilgisayar Destekli Eğitim(BDE) ve Geleneksel Eğitim(GE) yöntemlerininetkililiğini karşılaştırmak, bu konudaki BDE'in rolünü saptamak bu çalışmanınamacını oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışma Afyonkarahisar li Merkez lçesi, lköğretimOkullarında anasınıfına devam eden altı yaş çocuklarına BDE ve GE yöntemiylegeometrik şekil ve sayı kavramı eğitimi verilerek BDE'in bu konudaki rolüaraştırılmıştır. Araştırmaya iki ilköğretim okulundan 38'i erkek ve 42'si kızolmak üzere toplam 80 çocuk katılmıştır. Çocuklar bir deney ve bir kontrolgrubuna ayrılmışlardır. Deney grubuna BDE, kontrol grubuna da GE yöntemiile sayı ve şekil kavramı eğitimi verilmiştir. Eğitimden önce ve sonra ?GeometrikŞekil Kavram Formu?(GŞKF) ve ?Piaget'in Sayı Korunumu Testi?(PSKT)öntest ve sontest olarak uygulanmış, araştırma kapsamındaki çocuklara dabilgisayarla ilgili görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla ?Çocukla Görüşme Formu? veailelerine de ?Veli Anket Formu? uygulanmıştır. GŞKF sonuçları istatistikselolarak değerlendirildiğinde; BDE ile GE yönteminin kullanıldığı grupların şekilkavrama düzeyleri arasında eğitim öncesinden sonrasına anlamlı bir farklılıkolduğu bulunmuştur(p

THE ROLE OF COMPUTER-ASSISTED EDUCATIONIN PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION(M.Sc. Thesis)Ahmet Ömer KACARGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYOctober 2006ABSTRACTComparison of Computer Aided Education (CAE) and Traditional Education(TE) in the field of gaining the concepts of numbers (from 1 to 10), shapes(square, circle, triangle, rectangle) to the children in the kindergarten at theage of six and determining the role of CAE in this matter have been thesubject of this study. In this study for the children at the age of six going to thekindergartens of primary schools in Afyonkarahisar central district, the role ofCAE has been studied giving the education of geometrical shapes and theconcepts of numbers by the means of CAE and TE. In this study 80 students(consisted of 38 girls and 42 boys from two primary schools) have beenparticipated. The children were divided to a group of experiment and a group ofcontrol. The education of numbers and shapes was given to the group ofexperiment via CAE while it was given to the group of Control via TE. TheForm of Geometrical Shape Concept (FGSC) and the `Piaget?s test ofConservation of Numbers? were applied as pre-test and final test and the formof `Interview With The Child? and `The Parents Questionnaire Form? have beenapplied for the children participating in the study for the purpose ofdetermining their opinions about computers.
