In providing thisintegrity, the competencies which form the base of modern human resourcessystems stand in the forefront.The defined knowledge, skills and qualifications needed for excellentperformation and in the competency based human resources managementapplications where these are integrated to the human resources applications,functions like planning, selection and relocation, training, performance andpayment management are competency based.It?s been observed that, the competency based human resourcesmanagement applications add value to the company performance, the competencybased systems develop the skills and knowledge of the staff, increase motivation,job satisfaction and performance, in return.Hence, it shows that the competencies and competency based humanresources applications play an important role in a company?s success.Consequently, it?s been seen that identifying the competencies of establishmentsand implementing them during the human resources processes is an importantfactor that has to be taken into consideration in the strategic management process.In today?s competitive world, where the base of adding value bears onhuman resources, determining the competency based human resources strategiesand implementing them in a manner to add value, is of great importance.The goal of this research is to determine the competencies of a multi-national company functioning in Bursa, which is amongst the first 500 industrialcompanies, and to reengineering the present human resources processes by basingthem on the determined competencies.In the practice section of the research, the job analysis, job descriptionstudies that aim to determine the competencies in the subject establishment arementioned in detail, and explained the type of restructuring process to beimplemented during the training, performance evaluation and career planningprocesses.
