Özet
Antik dönemde felsefe ve sanat? başlıklı tez; beni, dönemin yalnız sanat ve felsefesini değil ama Eski Yunan kültürünü bir bütün olarak incelemeğe mecbur kıldı. Bu yüzden, Eski Yunan Uygarlığı'na şekil veren etmenleri de incelemek zorundaydım. Bunlar arasında; Yunanlı'nın Yunanlı'lık bilinci yani hellen-barbar ayrımı, Yunan kültürünün atası Homeros, sanatta ve düşüncede hümanizm ve idealizm düşüncesi ile toplumun kahramanlık ülküsü yer alır. Bunlar, eski Yunan'ı, eski Yunan yapan niteliklerdendir. Ancak bundan sonradır ki; uygarlığın daha ileri bir evresinde doğa filozoflarıyla başlayan felsefe macerası, sanatın yardımıyla da şekil almış; Sokrates öncesi filozoflar, Sokrates, Platon, Aristoteles ve Hellenistik Çağ filozoflarının biçimlendirdiği Eski Yunan felsefesi, günümüze dek pek çok felsefenin ve sanat felsefesinin biçimlendirilmesinde temel alınmıştır.

My thesis on the subject ?Philosophy and art in The Ancient Greece? made me have to study on not only the art and philosophy of the time but also the Ancient Greek culture as a whole. So, i have studied what made the Ancient Greece, The Ancient Greece such as the difference between hellen-barbarian, the Greeks? ancestor Homer, humanism and idealism in art and thought and the heroism concept. After studying these, i have concentrated on the nature philosophers, pre-Socratics, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and the Hellenistic philosophers. The philosophy that took a shape in the thoughts of these philosophers with the aid of art and called as the Ancient Greek philosophy has been the main source of all philosophies and art philosophies of all time.
