Özet

Bu arastırmanın amacı Türkiye'deki çim hokeyi ve buz hokeyi sporcularının sosyo-ekonomik yapılarını, branslara katılım nedenlerini ve beklentilerini saptamaktır. Arastırma betimsel bir yöntem içermektedir. ?lgili literatür taranarak Çim hokeyi, Buz hokeyi bransları ve sosyo-ekonomik yapı ile ilgili bilgiler verilip, bu bilgiler diğer çalısmalarla ve bazı sayısal verilerle desteklenmistir. Arastırma için ayrıca Çim hokeyi ve Buz hokeyi sporcularına bir anket uygulanmıstır. Bu anketten elde edilen verilerle arastırmanın problemine çözüm aranmıstır. Arastırmanın evrenini, Çim hokeyi ve Buz hokeyi branslarının 2006-2007 sezonunda ligde mücadele eden kulüp takımlarından her brans için ortalama 150 sporcu olmak üzere yaklasık 300 sporcu olusturmaktadır. Arastırmada Ankara, ?stanbul, Kocaeli, Malatya, Osmaniye, Samsun, Gaziantep, Aksaray illerinin kulüp sporcuları seçilmistir. Arastırmada anket yoluyla toplanan veriler kullanılarak frekans ve yüzde dağılımları bulunmus, ankete verdikleri cevapların değerlendirilmesinde t-testi, anova testi, ki-kare testi ve frekans testi, verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ve hesaplanmıs değerlerin bulunmasında ise ?SPSS 11.0? istatistik paket program kullanılmıstır. Yapılan arastırmalar neticesinde, Buz Hokeyi Sporcularının sosyo-ekonomik durumlarının Çim Hokeyi sporcularından daha iyi olduğu, sporcuların branslarından beklentilerinin benzerlikler gösterdiği ve aynı beklentileri tasıdıkları, branslara baslamalarındaki nedenlerde ise yine ortaklıklar olduğu ancak bazı değiskenlerde birbirlerinden farklılıklar gösterdikleri söylenebilir.

The aim of this research is to determine the socio-economic structures of the athletes of field-hockey and ice-hockey, their reasons of doing these sports and their expectations. The research has a descriptive method. In the light of the related literature, theoretical knowledge regarding the disciplines of field hockey and icehockey and socio-economic structure was given and this data was supported by other studies and quantitative data. Moreover, a questionnaire was given to the fieldhockey and ice-hockey athletes for the research. In the light of the data obtained from this questionnaire, a solution was searched for the problem of this study. The universe of this study consists of approximately 300 athletes at an average of 150 for each discipline from the club teams competing in the 2006-2007 season in field-hockey and ice-hockey disciplines. The athletes of the club teams of Ankara, ?stanbul, Kocaeli, Malatya, Osmaniye, Samsun, Gaziantep, Aksaray were selected. In this research, frequency and distribution rates were found by using data that was obtained via questionnaire. In the evaluation of this part T-Test, Anova test, Ki-kare test, Frequency test was used considering the given answers. SPSS 11.0 packet program was used to assess the data and the findings that were counted. As a result; it is concluded that there are differences in socioeconomic structures of the athletes of field-hockey and ice-hockey, however, there are similarities between their reasons of doing these sports and expectations.
