ABSTRACT In this study, invertigation of the Carnivora fauna of Miocene age in the Central and Western Anatolia (Paşalar, Çandır, Bayraktepe, Salihpaşalar) is aimed. In the study, geological units of the erea has been examined in the formation and member levels., rock units presented as generalized coloummar section geological ages determined according of the faunal content. The systematic study of the Carnivora fauna of Paşalar, Çandır, Bayraktepe and Salihpaşalar area has been determined as in the fallow: Ursidae family: Amphicyon major, Amphicyon alpaguti n.sp., Hemicyon sansaniensis, Ursavus of. intermedius, Alopecocyon göeriachensis, Pithocyon sp. Mustelidae family: Anatolictis laevicanius, Plesiogulo sp., tschyrictis (Hoplictis) anatolicus, Proputorius sp., Mesomephitis metai n.sp., Trochictis cf. depereti, Mionlctis marmarensis n. sp., Parataxidae sp., Baranogale ozansoyi n.sp., Pothamotherium miocenicum, Trocharion albenense. Hyaenidae family: Percrocuta (Percrocuta) miocenica, Percrocuta (Percrocuta) sp" Percrocuta (Dinocrocuta) sp., Adcrocuta eximia, Protictitherium bostancı n.sp., Protictitherium intermedium, Protictitherium aff. gaillardi, Protictitherium sp., tctitherium (tctitherium) rob» stum, tctitherium(Palhyaena) hipparionum. Canidae family: Simiçyon primigenius Felidae family Pseudailurus quadridentatus, Pseudailurus (Schizailurus) lorteti, Metailurus sp., Felis sp. According to the Camivora fauna, Middle Miocene (MN6) has been determined around Paşalar and Çandır erea, Upper Miocene (MN 10) around Bayraktepe area and Upper Miocene (MN 11) around Salihpaşalar. ^ Accornding to the Camivora and accompanied mammillary faunal data, Zoogeocraphical Paleoecology and Paleogeography- Biostratigraphy of the area have been enlightened. The Camivora faunal beds of the area have been correlated with the Asia, Europe and Africa mammillary fossil beds as well.
