Özet
Çalısmamız, Fransız yazar ve filozof Jean-Paul Sartre'ın Özgürlük Yolları adlı yapıtının LucienGoldmann'ın Olusumsal Yapısalcılık yöntemiyle çözümlenisini içermektedir.Toplumbilim ve yazın toplumbilimi alanında kendisinden önceki çalısmalara yenilerini ekleyen,yazarın ortaya koyduğu yapıtın toplumbilimsel çözümlemesinin diğer geleneksel yöntemlere göredaha doğru bulgular ortaya koyduğunu söyleyen Goldmann'ın gelistirdiği olusumsal yapısalcı yöntem,çözümlemede yazarın yasamöyküsü ve iç dünyası gibi alanlara yönelmez. Bunların yerine yapıtıkaleme alan yazarın, içinde yasadığı toplumun-toplumsal yapının verdiği esin ve dayatmalarlayarattığıürünün ortaya konma kosullarını göz önünde bulundurur. Toplumsal, ekonomik ve ekinseldeğerlerin olusturduğu anlamlı yapıların, yazarın yapıtını doğrudan etkilediğini, yönlendirdiğini hattabiçimlendirdiğini ileri süren Goldmann, bu kosullar altında baska yöntemlerle elestiri ve çözümlemeyapmanın olanaklı olamayacağına dikkat çeker. Toplumun veya toplumsal sınıfların geçirdiği evrelerdünya görüslerini sekillendirir. Her toplum veya sınıfın az ya da çok tutarlı bir dünya görüsü vardır.Biz de bes bölümden olusan bu çalısmamızda, Goldmann'ın yöntemini Sartre'ın ?kinci DünyaSavası'nın Fransa'yı ilgilendiren yönünü ve varolusçuluk felsefesinin ana ilkelerini ortaya koyduğu üçciltlik romanına uyguladık. Birinci bölümde yöntemle ilgili kuramsal bilgileri, ikinci ve üçüncübölümlerde romanın teknik özelliklerini ve daha kolay anlasılmasını sağlayan anlatı yerlemlerini elealdık. Dördüncü bölümde romanın olusumunda rol oynayan kosulları belirlemeye özen gösterdik.Besinci bölümde ise, savas kosullarının yapıta nasıl yansıdığını ve ortaya konan dünya görüsününçerçevesini belirledik. Dünya görüsünün tutarlılık ölçüsüne değindikten sonra, yapıtın elde ettiğibasarıyı tartıstık.Yapmaya çalıstığımız çözümleme sonucunda, Sartre'ın, bireylerin beyinlerini sürekli mesguleden Savas ve varolma gibi iki karsıt izleği yapıtına aynen yansıttığını gördük. XX. yüzyılın ortasındaFransız toplumunun ekonomik, dinsel, siyasal, eğitsel ve askeri vb durumunun, yapıtın olusumundabire bir etkili olduğunu saptadık. Yasadığı toplumun içinde bulunduğu kosullarda, o toplumun biraydını olarak bir seyler yapmak gerektiğinin ayrımına varan Sartre'ın, toplumu daha doğrusu insanlığıdüsünsel/tarihsel bağlamda bilgilendirmeye ve bilinçlendirmeye çalıstığına dikkat çektik.Sonuç olarak, Sartre'ın savas olgusundan yararlanarak, bir anlamda varlık ve yokluğun nasılolması gerektiğini ortaya koymaya çalıstığına tanık olduk. Savasın yol açtığı yıkımlar konusunda,toplumu ve kisisel deneyimlerini arka plan olarak kullandığı, gerçek amacının önce bireyi, daha sonrada bireyler aracılığıyla toplumu özgürlestirmek ve bilinçlendirmek olduğu sonucuna vardık

Our study includes the analysis of Jean-Paul Sartre?s, French writer and philosopher who highlyinfluenced the 20th century philosophy and produced many works in literary sense, The Roads toFreedom under the lights of Lucien Goldmann?s Genetic Structuralism method.The genetic structuralist method, which was developed by Goldmann and said to reveal moreconcrete and absolute information and findings in the analysis of the work of the author inconsideration to the other conventional methods by putting on something new to the former studies onsociology and literary sociology, does not front the areas such as biography or inner world of theauthor while making the analysis of the work. Instead of these, it takes the society in which the authorlives, the pressures and inspirations derived from that society and the betraying circumstances of thework into consideration. By claiming that the social, economic, cultural values of the society in whichthe author lives and the meaningful structures which are constructed by these values directly influencethe work of the author, Goldmann says making criticism or analysis with other methods is useless. ToGoldmann, the society or the social classes shape their own world views in respect to the evolutionthey had and every society or social class has a more or less coherent world view.In our study, which is consisted of five parts, in respect to these basic thoughts of Goldmann,we tried the applicability of the method to Jean-Paul Sartre?s novel in which he revealed the facts ofWorld War II related to France and introduced the highlights of existentialist philosophy as long asthree volumes. In the first part we gave information on the method and in the second and third partswe tried to reveal the technical features, narrative techniques and co-ordinates of the novel and inorder to make it more understandable. In the fourth part, we tried to determine the circumstances thattake part in the formation of the novel and finally in the last part we tried to reveal the reflection of thewar and the other conditions to the work and show the world view. After dealing with the consistencylevel of the world view, we analysed the success of the work. As a result of our analysis, we saw thatSartre, who tries to handle two opposing themes such as War and Peace at the same time in his work,directly reflects these themes, which always exist in the minds of the people and make their mindsbusy, in his works. We also saw that the economic, religious, political, educational and militarycharacteristics of mid-20th century France are influential in the formation of the work. We observedthat, in the circumstances of his own society Sartre, who realizes that he has to something as a scholarof that society, tries to inform his people in philosophical and historical senses.Consequently, we saw that, by making use of the fact of war, Sartre tries to determine howexistence and absence should be. We determined that, by using the society?s and his personalexperiences on war and its destructions as a background, Sartre aimed at liberalizing first theindividuals and then the society by means of the individuals.
