Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinde tükenmişlik düzeyleri ve bunun nedenlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma betimsel tarama modelinde ve nicel yaklaşımların kullanıldığı bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapmakta olan 136 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır ve örneklem alınmamıştır. Uygulanan 136 anketten eksiksiz doldurulan 125 anket değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan veriler, SPSS 11.00 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada incelenen değişken tipine göre veriler, Maslach Tükenmişlik Envanteri formu alt ölçekleri puanlarının aritmetik ortalamaları üzerinde gösterdiği farklılıklar ve önem derecelerinin tespiti ?t testi?, ?Kruskal Wallis? testi ve Mann Whitney U testi ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda özetle şu bilgilere ulaşılmıştır: (1) Uygulanan Maslach Tükenmişlik Envanterinden elde edilen bulgulara göre Muğla Merkez İlköğretim Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin Duygusal Tükenme ( ?X =33, 81) ve Kişisel Başarı VII Boyutunda ( ?X = 31,83) ve toplam puanda ( ?X =87, 98) tükenme düzeylerinin düşük olduğu; ancak duyarsızlaşma düzeylerinin çok düşük ( ?X =22,34) olduğu saptanmıştır. (2) Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinde cinsiyet tükenmişlik açısından duygusal tükenme (p= 0,32 p>0,05), duyarsızlaşma (p=0,99 p>0,05), kişisel başarı boyutlarında (p=0,85 p> 0,05) ve toplam puanda (p=0,5 p>0,05) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark oluşturmamıştır. (3) Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinde kıdem tükenmişlik açısından duygusal tükenme (p= 0,41 p>0,05), duyarsızlaşma (p=0,62 p>0,05), kişisel başarı boyutları (p=0,13 p>0,05) ve toplam puanda (p=0,37 p>0,05) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark oluşturmamıştır. (4) Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinde mesleği isteyerek seçip seçmemek tükenmişlik açısından duygusal tükenme (p= 0,68 p>0,05), duyarsızlaşma (p=0,24 p>0,05) ve toplam puanda (p=0,09 p>0,05) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark oluşturmazken, kişisel başarı boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde bir fark oluşturmuştur (p= 0,02 p<0,05). (5) Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinde ücret tükenmişlik açısından duygusal tükenme (p=0,34 p>0,05), duyarsızlaşma (p=0,66 p>0,05), kişisel başarı boyutlarında (p=0,20 p>0,05) ve toplam puanda (p=0,44 p>0,05) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark oluşturmamıştır. (6) Muğla merkez ilköğretim birinci kademede görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinde yönetici tavrı tükenmişlik açısından duygusal tükenme (p=0,52 p>0,05), duyarsızlaşma (p=0,42 p>0,05), kişisel başarı boyutunda (p=0,18 p>0,05) ve toplam puanda (p=0,55 p>0,05) istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark oluşturmamıştır.

The aim of this research is to investigate the reasons of burnout and the burnout levels of the primary school teachers working in the first stages of the primary schools in Muğla city centre. The research is a descriptive research and quantitive approaches are used in the research. The population of the research consists of 136 Classroom Teachers who are working at the first stage of Muğla Centrum primary schools form and no sample was selected. Fully filled 125 questionnaires, in 136 questionnaires, were taken into consideration. Data collected in the research were analyzed by SPSS 11.00. Data that were investigated according to the variable types in the research, the differences of sub-scale points of Maslach Burnout Inventory form seen above the arithmetic averages and the determination of the significance levels were done by ?t test? and ?Kruskal Wallis Test? and ?Mann Whitney U Test?. To sum up, these findings were obtained at the end of the study: (1) According to the data obtained from the Maslach Burnout Inventory, primary school teachers? burnout levels, in the subscales of Emotional Exhaustion ( ?X =33,81) Personal Accomplishment ( ?X =31,83) and total point ( ?X =87,98) are low, and the level of their burnout in the subscale of depersonalization ( ?X = 22,34) is very low. (2) IX Among the primary school teachers working in the first stages of the primary schools in Muğla city centre, gender does not form a meaningful statistical difference in emotional exhaustion (p= 0,32, p>0,05), depersonalization (p=0,99, p>0,05), personal accomplishment (p=0,85, p> 0,05) and total point (p=0,5 p>0,05) in aspects of burnout. (3) Among the primary school teachers working in the first stages of the primary schools in Muğla city centrum, years of experience does not form a meaningful statistical difference in the subscale of emotional exhaustion (p=0,41, p>0,05), depersonalization (p=0,62, p>0,05), personal accomplishment (p=0,13 p>0,05) and total point (p=0,37, p>0,05) in aspects of burnout. (4) While choosing the job willingly or unwillingly does not form a meaningful statistical difference in the subscales of emotional exhaustion (p=0,68, p>0,05), depersonalization (p=0,24, p>0,05) and total point (p=0,09, p>0,05) among the primary school teachers working in the first stages of the primary schools in Muğla city centrum; it forms a meaningful statistical difference in the subscale of personal accomplishment (p=0,02, p<0,05) in aspect of burnout. (5) Among the primary school teachers working in the first stages of the primary schools in Muğla city centrum, salary does not form a meaningful statistical difference in all subscales-emotional exhaustion (p=0,34, p<0,05), depersonalization (p=0,66, p<0,05), personal accomplishment (p=0,20, p<0,05) and total point (p=0,44, p<0,05) in aspect of burnout. (6) Among the primary school teachers working in the first stages of the primary schools in Muğla city centrum, attitudes of administrators does not form a meaningful statistical difference in all subscales-emotional exhaustion (p=0,52, p<0,05), depersonalization (p=0,42, p<0,05), personal accomplishment (p=0,18, p<0,05) and total point (p=0,55, p<0,05) in aspects of burnout.
