Özet

Bu araştırmada, Kız Meslek Lisesi Tekstil- Konfeksiyon Bölümüöğrencilerinin genel özellikleri ile alan dersine karşı duyuşsal özellikleri arasındakiilişkiler ve bu özelliklerin başarılarına etkisini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır.Çalışma survey yöntemine dayalı bir araştırmadır. Araştırma verileri,öğrencilere uygulanan anket ve duyuşsal özellikleri belirleme ölçeği ile eldeedilmiştir.Araştırmanın evrenini, 2004 ? 2005 öğretim yılında MEB'na bağlıAnkara'daki Kız Meslek Liselerinin Tekstil-Konfeksiyon bölümü 10. ve 11. sınıföğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, bu kız meslek liselerinden 8tanesi random yöntemiyle seçilerek oluşturulmuştur. Tekstil-Konfeksiyonbölümünde okuyan 246 öğrenciye kişisel özellikleri belirlemeye yönelik anket veduyuşsal özelliklerini belirleme ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ankete cevap verenöğrencilere ait alan dersleri (Kalıp ve tasarımları ile Tasarım uygulamaları) başarınotları okul kayıtlarından elde edilmiştir.Verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS sürüm 11.0 kullanılmıştır. Ölçek formununöğrencilere ait kişisel bilgilerin çözümlenmesinde, frekans ve yüzde dağılımlarıalınmıştır. Duyuşsal özelliklerini belirlemeye yönelik ölçeğin maddeleri puanlanarakSPSS programına girilmiştir. Her bir faktörün maddelerinin; aritmetik ortalaması( X ), standart sapması (S) hesaplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin genel özellikleri ile duyuşsalözellikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı, Pearson çarpım momentlerikorelasyon katsayısı (r) ile hesaplanmıştır.Öğrencilerin duyuşsal özelliklere katılma düzeylerinin 3,88 aritmatikortalama ( X ) ile olumlu, yeterli kabul edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin, bölüme karşıduyuşsal özelliklere katılma düzeylerine ilişkin elde edilen aritmatik ortalama ( X )3,64 ; öğretmene karşı duyuşsal özelliklere katılma düzeylerine ilişkin elde edileniiaritmatik ortalama ( X ) 4,09 ; derse karşı duyuşsal özelliklere katılma düzeylerineilişkin elde edilen aritmatik ortalama ( X ) 4,02 ; kendilerine olan güven duygularınakatılma düzeylerine ilişkin elde edilen aritmatik ortalama ( X ) 3,77'dir.Öğrencilerin; aile gelir durumu, babalarının mesleği, annelerinin mesleği,annelerinin öğrenim düzeyi ile duyuşsal özellikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkininolmadığı; ancak babalarının öğrenim düzeyi, bölümü isteyerek seçmeleri ve alanderslerindeki başarıları ile duyuşsal özellikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğubelirlenmiştir.Öğrencilerin 3,73 ortalama ile Tasarım Uygulamaları Dersinde ve 3,34ortalama ile de Kalıp ve Tasarımları Dersinde başarılı oldukları gözlenmiştir. Her ikidersteki başarı ortalamaları ise 3,54'tür. Öğrencilerin bölümlerini isteyerek seçmelerive duyuşsal özelliklerinin olumlu olması, alan derslerindeki başarılarını arttırdığıbelirlenmiştir.

This study, in regard with the students who are being educated at the Textileand Confection Department of Girl?s Vocational Lyceum, has been aimed atrevealing the correlations that existed between their general characteristics andaffective characteristics towards the field practice course and finding out theeffects of such characteristics on their achievements .This study consists of a research based on the survey method. Theresearch data have been obtained through the questionnaire methods applied on thestudents and also using the determination scale dealing with the affectivecharacteristics.The population of this research consists of students who, during theAcademic Year 2004-2005, are being educated in the 10.th and 11.th classes ofgirl?s vocational Lyceums which are located in Ankara and governed by theMinistry of National Education. Eight subjects who are randomly among the studentsof such Lyceums, created the sampling process of this research. For those 246students who are being educated at the Textile-Confection Department, with aview to determine their personal characteristics , the questionnaire methods havebeen applied together with the determination scale dealing with the affectivecharacteristics. From the official records of school, it has been possible to learn theachievement grades concerning the field practicing courses (Pattern and Designsand Design Applications) of those students who gave their responses to suchquestionnaires.For the analysis of data, the SPSS version 11.0 has been used. In order toanalyse personal data pertained to the students and registered in the scale Form, thefrequencies and dispersion percentages have been calculated. After giving scoresto the articles of Scale which is oriented towards the determination of affectivecharacteristics, the entry has been made to the SPSS program. The Arithmeticivaverage ( X ) and Standard deviation have been calculated. Through the use ofPearson?s coefficient of product-moment correlation (r) , it has been possible to findout whether or not a significant correlation existed between the general andaffective characteristics of students.The students levels for the involvement in the affective characteristics, havebeen found positive and sufficient upon the arithmetic average of 3,88. Thearithmetic average ( X ) obtained in regard with the involvement of students inthe affective characteristics, is equal to 3,64 for this Department. The arithmeticaverage ( X ) obtained in regard with the involvement of students in the affectivecharacteristics, is equal to 4,09. For the instructor, the arithmetic average ( X )obtained in regard with the involvement of students in the affective characteristics,is equal to 4,02. For the field practicing course, the arithmetic average ( X )obtained in regard with the involvement of students in the feelings of confidence isequal to 3,77.It is determined that no significant correlation had ever existed among thestudents affective characteristics, income levels of their families, Professions of theirparents and education levels of their mothers. However, it is also determined that asignificant correlation had existed among the students? affective characteristics,educational levels of their fathers, their willful selection for the Department wherethey are being educated and finally their achievements in the field practicingcourses.By the arithmetic averages of 3,73 and 3,34 these students seem to haveachieved a success respectively in the Design Application Course and Pattern andDesign Course. Their achievement level average for both courses, is equal to3,54. It is determined that the achievement levels of students in the field practicingcourses, have raised due to the factor such as their willful selection for theirdepartment and having positive affective characteristics.
