Özet
Dünyada ve özellikle son 50 yılda değişikliğe uğrayan matematik programlarında, hesaplama becerilerinin önemi azalmış ancak konu ve kavramların öğrenilmesinde niçin ve nasıl soruları büyük önem kazanmıştır. Bu anlayış farklılığı beraberinde kullanılan öğretim yöntemlerinde değişiklik yapılması gereksinimini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu gereklilik nedeniyle değişik yaklaşımlara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme bu yaklaşımlardan birisidir.Bu araştırmada amacımız; ilköğretim 7. sınıflarda ?Oran, Orantı ve Yüzdeler? Ünitesinin Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme ile öğrenilmesinin matematik başarısına ve tutuma etkisini incelemektir.Araştırma, İstanbul İli, Eminönü İlçesi, Atatürk İlköğretim Okulu'nun 7. sınıflarında okuyan toplam 70 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, ön test-son test kontrol gruplu deneme modelindedir. Uygulamaya başlamadan önce deney ve kontrol gruplarına ön test ve matematik tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Deney grubuna Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme yaklaşımı uygulanırken, kontrol grubuna klasik yöntemle ders işlenmiştir.Çalışma sonunda her iki gruba son test ve matematik tutum ölçeği testi uygulanmış olup, deney grubuna özel olarak ?Etkinlik Değerlendirme Formu?, ?Kendini Değerlendirme Formu?, ?Öğrenci Gözlem Formu? uygulanmıştır.Araştırma verileri SPSS 15.00 istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Ayrıca deney grubu öğrencilerin proje sunumlarını gösteren video kayıt görüntüleri mevcuttur.

In the world and especially in the mathematic curriculum that have changed for the last 50 years, the importance of calculating skills has decreased but ?why? and ?how? questions for the learning of subjects and concepts have gained importance. That diversity of understanding brought about with itself the necessity of making changes at the teaching methods in use. Because of this necessity different approaches are needed. Project Based Learning is one of them.In this paper, our aim is to study the effect of learning ?Rate, Proportion and Percentage? unit with Project Based Learning at 7th Grades? Mathematic success and behaviour.This study was implemented with 70 7th grade students of Atatürk Primary School in Eminönü District in Istanbul. Before starting the implementation, experiment and control groups were subjected to top pre-test and mathematic behaviours scale. In the experiment group Project Based Learning was conducted whereas the control group were taught with classical method.At the end of the study, both groups were subjected to final test and mathematic behaviours scale. Besides, the experiment group was given ?Activity Evaluation Form?, ?Evaluation of Oneself Form? and ?Students Observation Form?.Data obtained from the research was analyzed and commented with SPSS 15.00 statistic programme. Video records of the students? project presentations are also available. The paper will also show the interesting as well as the important results of this research in all aspects.
