Özet

Bu araştırma, 2006?2007 öğretim yılı güz döneminde AnkaraÜniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Fakültesi Bilgisayar ve Öğretim TeknolojileriBölümü'nde öğrenim görmekte olan, ikinci ve üçüncü sınıf öğrencisi 74 deneküzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında yer alan deneklerinbelirlenmesinde ve deney gruplarının eşleştirilmesinde ön test puanlarıdikkate alınmıştır. Bu değişkene göre 24, 26 ve 24 denekten oluşan üç deneygrubu oluşturulmuştur.ANOVA sonuçlarına göre, deneysel işlemler öncesi grupların başarıortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı, deneysel işlem koşullarısonrasında az transaksiyonel uzak ortamda deneysel koşulları tamamlayanöğrencilerin, çok ve orta transaksiyonel uzak ortamdaki öğrencilere göredaha fazla ve kalıcı öğrendikleri bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonunda az ve ortatransaksiyonel uzak ortamda deneysel koşulları tamamlayan öğrencilerindoyum düzeylerinin, çok transaksiyonel uzak ortamdaki öğrencilerdenanlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Aynı zamanda az ve ortatransaksiyonel uzak ortamda deneysel koşulları tamamlayan öğrencilerin çoktransaksiyonel uzak ortamdaki öğrencilere göre özyeterlilik algıları anlamlıderecede farklı olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu bulgular çerçevesinde Moore'unTransaksiyonel Uzaklık Kuramı bileşenlerinin doğrulandığı sonucunavarılmıştır.

This research was conducted with 74 second and third year studentsfrom Ankara University, Faculty of Educational Science, Computer Educationand Instructional Technology Program in 2006-2007 the fall semester. Pretestscores were used to select subjects and to match the experimentalgroups. Accordingly three experimental groups were constituted with 24, 26and 24 subjects respectively.ANOVA results yielded that, there was no significant differencebetween the achievement mean scores of three experimental groups in preexperimentalprocess. But, after the experiment it was found that, thestudents in the least transactional distance environment learnt much moreand permanently than the students in the medium and high transactionaldistance environments. At the end of the research it was found that, in termsof satisfaction, there was a significant difference between the students in theleast and medium transactional distance environments and the students inthe high transactional distance environment. It was also found that, in termsof self efficacy there was a high significant difference between the students inthe least and medium transactional distance environments, and the studentsin the high transactional distance environment. Within the frame of thesefindings, it was concluded that Moore?s Theory of Transactional Distancecomponents assumptions are true.
