Özet
Bu arastırma, ilkögretim 4. ve 5. sınıf ögretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimidavranıslarını çesitli degiskenler açısından degerlendirerek, bu davranıslarınögrenci basarısına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıstır.Arastırmanın evreni, Altındag (Ankara) ilçesinde bulunan ilkögretimokullarının 4. ve 5. sınıflarında ögrenim gören ögrenciler ve bu sınıflarınögretmenlerinden olusmaktadır.Arastırmanın evrenindeki 67 okulda; 6288'i 4. sınıf, 6498'i de 5. sınıfolmak üzere toplam 12786 ögrenci bulunmaktadır. Evrenden ?tabakalıörnekleme? yöntemi ile örneklem (ögrenci) seçilmis, evren ilk olarak ilçedüzeyinde (Altındag) okulların içinde bulundugu sosyoekonomik düzeyleregöre üst, orta ve alt olmak üzere üç alt tabakaya ayrılmıstır. Daha sonra bualt tabakalardan sayısal büyüklükleri oranında örneklem (ögrenci) seçilmistir.Örneklemdeki 4. ve 5. sınıf ögrencilerine ve ögretmenlerine,arastırmacı tarafından gelistirilen, ögretmenlerin sınıf yönetimi davranıslarınıbelirlemeye yönelik ölçek uygulanmıstır. Ayrıca ögretmenlerin sınıf yönetimidavranıslarının belirlenmesi (demokratik/otoriter) amacıyla ilgili sınıflardagözlem yapılmıstır. Elde edilen veriler ?SPSS 11.5? paket programında analizedilerek yorumlanmıs ve sonuçlara iliskin önerilerde bulunulmustur.Arastırmada, ögretmenlerin sınıf yönetimi davranıslarına iliskin olarakögrenci, gözlemci ve ögretmenlerin degerlendirmeleri arasında anlamlı farkoldugu sonucuna ulasılmıstır. Ögrenci ve ögretmenlerin degerlendirmelerinegöre ögretmenlerin sınıf yönetimi davranısları ile ögrenci basarısı arasındaanlamlı bir iliski bulunmamasına ragmen, gözlemcilerin degerlendirmelerinegöre ögretmenlerin sınıf yönetimi davranısları ile ögrenci basarısı arasındaanlamlı bir iliski oldugu görülmüstür.

This research was done for the evaluation of classroom managementbehaviours of 4th and 5th grade primary school teachers in terms of variousvariables and the results of these behaviours on students? success.The sampling of the study consists of 4th and 5th grade students, inAltındag (Ankara) primary schools and the teachers of these classes.The research was conducted with the participation of 12786 studentsin 67 schools and 6288 of the students were at the fourth year class, 6498were at the fifth year class. The students were selected by stratified samplingmethod, according to their socioeconomic level, categorised three levels;high, middle and low. The students from low socio-economic level were takenas samples.The students from the fourth and fifth year classes and their teacherswere given a questionnaire, developed by the researcher means without anycontribution identify the classsroom management behaviours of the teachers.Research also involved observations to identify the democratic and autoriticalbehaviours of subject teachers. The analysis of data has been made incomputer by using ?SPSS 11.5 packet programme and some suggestionshave been put forward in the light of the findings.Research results show that the opinion of the students, teachers andobservers about the classroom management behaviours of teachers aresignificantly different from one another. According to the evaluation of thestudents and the teachers there isn?t significant relation between theclassroom management of the teachers and students? success. However,there is a significant relation between the classroom management of theteachers and students? success according to the observers? evaluation.
