Özet
Bu çalışmada, Türkiye Türkçesinde şimdiki zaman eki olarak bilinen -(°)yor ekinin zamansal, görünüşsel ve kipsel özellikleri, alabildiği kişi ekleri ve cümle ögesi olarak kullanımları incelenmiştir. Ayrıca -(°)yor ekini almış olan fiiller, kılınış özellikleri yönüyle de betimlenmiştir. Buradaki amacımız, -(°)yor ekinin türlü kullanım özeliklerini betimlemek ve Türkçe dilbilgisi kaynaklarında oldukça yüzeysel açıklamalarla geçiştirildiğini gördüğümüz başta görünüş, kılınış, kip gibi konuları, -(°)yor eki bağlamında değerlendirmektir.Tezin Giriş bölümünde, çalışmanın tanıtımı yapılmış ve sözü edilen konularla ilgili kuramsal bilgiler, -(°)yor eki bağlamında ele alınmıştır. -(°)yor eki, bilindiği üzere Eski Türkçe ve Orta Türkçe dönemlerinde henüz teşekkül etmemiştir. Dolayısıyla ekin ilk olarak ne zaman ve hangi coğrafyadaki tarihi Türk lehçesinde teşekkül ettiği, kısaca ekin kökeni üzerinde durulmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra Türkçe dilbilgisi kitaplarımızda birleşik zaman (/ bileşik zaman), birleşik çekim, birleşik kip terimleriyle karşılanan -(°)yordu, -(°)yormuş, -(°)yorsa yapıları, çalışmamızın ana bölümünü oluşturan görünüş ve kılınış konuları ile dilbilgisel zaman ve kip konuları, giriş bölümünde ayrıntılı biçimde tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca dilin bir dizge olduğu ve cümledeki her bir ögenin cümleyi etkilediği düşüncesinden hareketle cümle ögelerinin önemi konusu da, yine giriş bölümünde ele alınmıştır.Tezin merkezi konumundaki İnceleme bölümünde -(°)yor ekli çekimler, zaman, görünüş, kip, sözdizimi ve biçimbilgisi özellikleri yönüyle ele alınmış, -(°)yor ekli fiiller, kılınış özelliklerine göre sınıflandırılmıştır. İnceleme bölümünde -(°)yor ekli her birim, basit veya birleşik olması yönüyle incelenmiştir. -(°)yor ekli basit çekimler, görünüş özellikleri bakımından görünüşsel salt zaman, görünüşsel işlevsel zaman, görünüşsel anlam; birleşik çekimler ise gösterdiği kip ve görünüş özellikleri yönüyle betimlenmiştir. -(°)yor ekli fiiller, kılınış özelliklerine göre basit ve birleşik fiil olup olmamaları yönüyle sınıflandırılmış ve çekim biçimlerine göre ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır.Çalışmamızın Sonuç bölümünde ise, -(°)yor ekiyle ilgili bulgular ve değerlendirmeler üzerinde durulmuş, sürekli bir tabandan gelen -(°)yor ekinin kılınış özelliği bakımından en çok hangi fiil türü ile çekimlendiği, sayısal veriler ışığında gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.

In this study, the temporal, aspectual and modal attributes of the suffix -(°)yor, which is known as the present tense suffix in Turkey Turkish, the personal endings it can receive and its employments as a sentence element are analyzed. Furthermore, the verbs which have taken the -(°)yor suffix are examined in their lexical aspects (aktionsart). Our aim here is to demonstrate the various usage attributes of the suffix -(°)yor and to review the subjects such as aspect, aktionsart and modality, which we see have been being evaded with quite superficial explanations in Turkish grammar sources, in the context of the suffix -(°)yor.In the Introduction part of the thesis, the study is introduced and the theoretical information about the aforementioned subjects is handled in the context of the -(°)yor suffix. As known, the suffix -(°)yor did not exist in Old Turkish and Middle Turkish periods. Hence, when and in which historical Turkish dialect the suffix first appeared, the origin of the suffix is mentioned. Besides, the structures -(°)yordu, -(°)yormuş, -(°)yorsa which are explained as compound tenses, compound conjugation, compound modalities in Turkish grammar books, the subjects aspect and aktionsart which form the main part of our study, and grammatical time and modality subjects are discussed in detail in the introduction. Furthermore, taking up from the idea that language is a system and that each element in a sentence affects the sentence, the topic of the importance of the sentence elements is handled in the introduction part.In the Examination part, which can be regarded as the central part of the thesis, conjugations with -(°)yor are discussed in their aspectual, modal, syntactic and morphological qualities, and verbs with the suffix -(°)yor are categorized according to their lexical aspects. In the examination part every unit with the -(°)yor suffix is examined in terms of their being simple or complex (compound). While simple conjugations with -(°)yor are demonstrated in terms of aspectual-only tense, aspectual functional tense, aspectual meaning with regard to their aspectual attributes; complex conjugations are demonstrated in terms of the modal and aspectual attributes they show. Verbs with the suffix -(°)yor are categorized in terms of their being whether simple or complex with respect to their lexical aspects and they are handled separately according to their conjugational forms.In the Conclusion part of our study, the findings and appraisals concerning the suffix -(°)yor are dwelled upon, and which verbal type the suffix -(°)yor which continually comes from one basis is conjugated with is explained in the light of numerical data.
