Özet
Bu tezde Türkiye'de gemi inşaatı sanayi içinde yat turizminin yeri ve önemiincelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Önce dünyada ve Türkiye'de gemi inşaatı sanayiincelenerek Türkiye'nin dünya gemi inşaatı sanayi içerisindeki konumu ve önemiirdelenmiştir. Daha sonra gemi inşaatı sanayinin bir alt sektörü olan yat ve gezintitekneleri inşaatı sektörü, üretim rakamları, üretici profili ve fiyatlar verilerek hemdünyada ve hem de Türkiye'de analiz edilmiştir. Süper ve mega yat üretimianlatılmıştır. Son yıllarda bu sektörde teknik, dizayn, teknolojik ve teçhizatlardameydana gelen gelişmeler verilmiştir. Yat turizmi ile ilgili başlıca sektörler sonyıllara ait rakamsal değerlerle sunulmuştur. Yatlar dizayn şekline göre motor yat veyelkenli, büyüklük olarak (8 m ? 24 m) ve 24 m'den büyük süper-mega yat olmaküzere toplam dört ana kısıma ayrılarak ve yat turizmi eklenerek anket çalışmasıyapılmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen anket çalışması yardımıyla yat turizmi sektörüne hizmetveren yat ve gezinti tekneleri inşaatı sektörünün değişik segmentlerde halenbulunduğu konumdan daha da ileri gidebilmesi için yapılması gerekenler ele alınmışve güçlü-zayıf yönler ve fırsatlar-tehditler (GZFT) analizi yapılmıştır.

In this study the position and importance of yacht tourism sector is investigatedamong Turkish shipbuilding industry. In the first part the world and Turkishshipbuilding industries is introduced with the latest statistical datas. The second partreviews the pleasure boating industry, with the key manufacturing datas both in theworld and in Turkey. The super and mega yacht segment is given in more detail.Then the latest technical information, design parameters, technological innovationsand boat accessories are then analyzed. The final part of the study is designated tothe general concepts and knowledge about the nautical tourism and its types, and thesurvey carried out. The questionnaire is the main tool that is used for data collectionand is the base of result processing. The yachts are divided two by design, as motorand sailing yachts. Then divided two by length, as (8 m ? 24 m) and super-megayachts. Figures of the survey extracted by all the entirely filled in questionnaries,which form the basis of the survey, which have let to the final SWOT analysis of thisstudy of the overall pleasure boating industry in Turkey.
