118 SUMMARY The purpose of this study is to determine whether attending Creative Drama Training would effect Empathic Ability and Empathic Tendency Levels. The subject of this study were randomly selected 35 under graduate students of Faculty of Educational Sciences of Ankara University. Experimental group consists of 15 students, control group consists of 20 students. In this research, Empathic Ability Scale B and Empathic Tendey Scale developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Üstün Dökmen were used. Experimental and control groups were given pre-tests. After giving a 14 week training to the experimental group, they were both given post-tests. Research findings were assessed by using Split-Plot variance analysis. The statistical analyse of the data showed no significant differences on the subjects empathic ability and empathic tendency levels.
