Özet
İşletmeler arası rekabetin had safhalara ulaştığı günümüz piyasa koşullarında işletmeler için açığa çıkan maliyet bilgilerinin doğru ve güvenilir olması hiç şüphesiz işletme performansı açısından çok büyük öneme sahiptir. Bunun yanı sıra gelişen teknolojinin de etkisi ile işletmelerde birçok genel üretim giderleri ortaya çıkmış ancak mevut geleneksel maliyetleme yöntemleri bu giderleri ideal bir şekilde maliyetlemede yetersiz kalmıştır. Bu nedenle Faaliyet Tabanlı Maliyetleme modeli Geleneksel Maliyetleme Yöntemlerine bir alternatif sistem olarak ortaya çıkarılmıştır.Turizm faaliyetleri ülkemizde belirli sezonlarda yapıldığı için bu sektörde faaliyet gösteren Otel işletmeleri için doğru ve güvenilir maliyet bilgileri varlıklarının devamı için önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada turizm işletmelerinin yapıları üzerinde durularak, bilgi sistemleri ve maliyet yapılarının bu işletmeler için öneminden bahsedilmiştir.Ayrıca Faaliyet Tabanlı Maliyetleme'nin nasıl bir maliyetleme modeli olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur. In today?s market conditions where competition among businesses has reached high levels, the accuracy and reliability of the existing costing information are without doubt of great importance for the performances of businesses. In addition to this, technological developments have led to the appearance of many general production costs, but existing traditional costing methods have proved inadequate in costing these expenses ideally. For this reason, Activity Based Costing (ABC) Model has been developed as an alternative to traditional costing methods.Since tourism activities take place during certain seasons, for the hotel businesses in this sector to have accurate and reliable costing information is of great importance for the continuation of their existence. Because of this, in this article the structures of tourism enterprises have been stressed and the importance of information systems and costing structures for these enterprises has been mentioned.Also, what kind of costing model ABC is has been emphasized in this article. After that showing an example application in a Hotel business, the results have been compared with the existing methods.
