Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, alet izlerinin, olay yerinde bulunarak tespit edilmeleri, uygun şekilde Laboratuarlara transfer edilmeleri ile laboratuara ulaşan izlerin inceleme standartları ve kurallarının belirlenmesine yönelik çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar kapsamında incelenmek üzere gönderilen dört farklı olaya ait alet izleri üzerinde tetkikler yapılmış, genelde fiziksel inceleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır.

In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the tool marks in the crime scene, transfer in an appropriate manner to the lab and to designate the examination standards and rules of the marks which arrive to the lab. In this words scope four different tools were carefully examined which belong to four different cases, a work style of working on a better and clear tool marks were developed by applying physical examine in general, but sometimes chemical solvents were used to clean the colors and leftovers.It has been made a different separation regarding tool mark kinds apart from which already have in the literature, pressure tool marks, friction tool marks and cutting tool marks were examined under three titles. Besides cutting tool marks were separated into two parts. These are; cutting tool marks, formed by repeated contacts, and the tool marks which form cutting and pressure tool marks together.The breaking the lock cylinder with adjustable spanner is very often experienced in the home robbery were able identified the tool caused break the cylinder by friction marks on the cylinder. In these findings it is set forth that it is not easy to make a clear tool mark classification. Usage manner of the tool along with tools specification is playing an important role in classification of the mark.It is put forth an iron cutter, leaves comparable marks on the master lock and understood that formed by an iron cutter. Also this case was used elemental analysis method under SEM/EDXA (Scanning Electron Microscope with Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis) that the samples were transferred from the iron cutters chop.
