Özet

-30- Ö Z E T Adana 111, Osmaniye İlçesi, Kesmeburun köyü sar' alarmda 1967 yılı Şubat- Kay ıs döneminde sürdürülen bu araştırma, sürekli otlatılan bir sar' anın 4 yöneyinln korunan bir ser' a alanı ila bitki örtüsü vb varla açısından karşılaştırmak amacıyla yapılmaktır. Araştırma korunan alan va otlatılan sar' anın 4 farklı yöneylnde (Batı, Doğu, Güney, Kuzey) 7 takrarlamali tasadüf parsallari danama dasanina göra planlanmıştır. Araştırmada söz konusu sar' alarm bitki ila kaplı alan yüzdeleri, alana göre botanik kompozisyonları, bugdaygll, baklagii va di gar fani lya bitkilari oransal frekansları lup yöntemi ila saptanmıştır. Ayrıca kuadrat yöntemi ila incelenen mer' alarm kuru ot varisleri va ağırlığa göre botanik koaşpozisyonları saptanmıştır. Arattırmadan alda adi lan sonuçlar aşağıda özetlenmiştir. 1. En yüksek bitki ile kaplı alan yüzdesi yöneylnde saptanmıştır. Korunan alanda bitki ila kaplı alan yüzdesinin otlatılan mar* anın tüm yönaylarinden istatistiksel olarak dana yüksek olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Otlatılan mar'anm Güney yöneyi dışındaki tüm yöneylerin bitki ila kaplı alan yüzdeleri açısından İstatistiksel olarak farksız olduğu saptanmıştır. Otlatılan mar' anın Güney yöneyinln bitki ile kaplı alan yüzdesi aynı mar'anm Batı yönayina göre dana düşük olmasına karşılık, Kuzey va Doğu yöneyindaklne benzerdir. 2. -33- SUKMAKY The purpose of this study canducted on the ranges In Kesmeburun village, Osmaniye- Adana, in the period bedween February and Kay of 19&7 was to compare four different aspects of the continously grazed range with a protected range in plant cover and yield. The study «as orranged in a randomized plot design with seven replications in protected range and Bast, Vest, South, and Borth aspects of grazed range. In the research, percentages of basal cover area, botanical composition based on basal cover area, relative frequencies of grasses, legumes and other family plants in protected range and aspects of grazed rong« mire studied by the loop mathod. In addition to these, the adried herbage yield and botanical compositions based on weight of ranges were studied. The results of this study were summarled as following. 1. The highest percentage of basal cover area was deter ained on the protected range, and the lowest one on the south aspect of grazed range. It appeared that the percantage of basal cover area on the protected range was higher than those on the aspects of grazed range all aspects of grazed range with the exception of south aspects were statistically sosa in the percantage of basal cover area. The percantage of basal cover area on the south aspect of grazed range was lower than that on the west aspect while it was statistically some as those on tha other aspects of grazed range. 2. The highest percantage of grasses in the botanical composition based on the basal cover area was determined on the protected range, and the lowest one on the north aspect of grazed range. The percantage of grasses on the protected range was higher than those on the all aspects of grazed range. The aspects of grazed range were statistically some in the percantage of grasses in botanical composition. The highest percentage of legumes in the botanical composition was determined on the protected range, and the lowest one on the west aspect of grazed range. Protected range was statistically different from the west and north aspects of grazed range in the percantage of legumes-34- 1q botanical composition but It was statistically sob» as the east and south aspects of grazed range In that characteristic. The aspects of grazed range were not statistically different frost each other. The lowest percentage of other family plants in the botanical composition was determined on the protected range, and the highest one on the north aspect of grazed range. The protected range was statistically different from the all aspects of grazed range in all the percantage of other family plants in the botanical composition aspects of grazed range with the exception of south aspect were statistically some in the percantage of other family plants in the botanical composition. The percantage of other family plants on the south aspect of grazed range was lower than that on the north aspect of grazed range while it was statistically some as those on the other aspects of grazed mug a. 3. The highest relative frequency value of grasses was determined on the protected range, and the lowest one on the north aspect of grazed range. Protected range was statistically same as the west aspect of grazed range in relative frequency; but it was statistically different from the other aspects of grazed range. The aspects of grazed range were not statistically different from each other in the relative frequency of grasses. The highest relative frequency value of legumes was determined on the protected range, and the lowest one on the west aspect of grazed range. The relative frequency of legumes on the protected range was higher than that on the west aspect of grazed range while It was statistically some as those on the other aspects of grazed range. The aspects of grazed range was not statistically different from each other. The lowest relative frequency of other family plants was determined on tha protected range, and the highest one on tha «est aspect of grazed range. The relative frequency of other family plants on the protected range was statistically lowest than those on tha all aspects of grazed range. Tha aspects of grazed range were not statistically different from each other in the relative frequency of other family plants. 4. The highest dried herbage yield was obtained from the protected range, and the lowest one from the north aspects of grazed-35- range. Protected raage gave higher yield than the all aspects of grazed range. The aspects of grazed range «ere not statistically different from each other in dried herbage yield. 5. The highest percentage of grasses in the botanical cospasltion based on the weight was determined on the protected range, and the lowest one on the south aspect of grazed range. The percentage of grasses in the botanical composition on the protected range was higher than those on the all aspects of grazed range. The aspects of grazed range were statistically some as each other in the percentage of grasses In the botanical composition, Protected range and aspects of grazed range were not statistically different froa each other in the percentage of leguaes In the botanical composition based on the weight. The percentage of the other family plants on the botanical cospasition based on the weight on the protected range was lower than those on tha all aspects of grazed range.
