?19. ve 20. Yüzyıl Batı Tiyatrosunun ?Ses? ve Mevcudiyet Bağlamında İncelenmesi?, fenomenolojik ve metafizik bağlamlarıyla tiyatroda insan sesinin nasıl kullanıldığını araştırmaktadır. Odaklandığı tarihsel dönemler 19. yüzyıl gerçekçiliği ve tiyatronun yeniden-teatralleştiği 20. yüzyıl uygulamalarıdır. Oyuncunun `ses'inin sahnede karakterin sesi olarak yanılsama içinde nasıl kullanıldığına bakılmakta, 20. yüzyılda ise Brecht ve Meyerhold'un çalışmaları Grotowski ve Artaud'nun çalışmalarıyla teatralleşme pratiği içinde karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın kavramsal zemini Jacques Derrida'nın yapı-sökümüne ve Merleau-Ponty ile Husserl'in fenomenolojisine dayanmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı, `ses'in fenomenel algısının bastırıldığı, ya da doğrudan vurgulandığı bağlamlarda mevcudiyet metafiziğinin söylemsel olarak nasıl tesis edildiğinin gösterilmesidir.

The Study named ?The Analysis of the 19th and 20th-century Western Theater in the Context of Voice and Presence? examines how human Voice is used in its phenomenological and metaphysical contexts in theater. The historical periods focused on are the 19th-century realism and the re-theatricalization of the 20th century theatrical practices. It is probed how the voice of the actor transforms to the character?s voice as a part of the illusion created on the stage. The Works of Brecht and Meyerhold are compared and contrasted to those of Grotowski and Artaud in their practicum of theatricalization. The grounding terminology is based on Derrida?s deconstruction theory and Mereau-Ponty?s and Husserl?s phenomenology. The object of the study is to display how metaphysics of presence is discoursively established in contexts when the phnomenological perception of the voice is supressed or directly emphasized.
