Özet
`Kavramsal Sanatın Gelişimi' başlığında incelenen tez çalışmasında, 1960'lı yıllardan sonra etkinliğini gösteren `Kavramsal Sanat'ın tarihsel süreciyle incelenerek; öncesi ve günümüzdeki gelinen durumuyla ilgili yapılan kapsamlı bir araştırmayı içermektedir.Önce `Sanatın Genel Tanımı' na yer verilmesi, çalışmanın doğru temeller üzerinde devam etmesi amacındadır. `Kavramsal Sanat' ın anlam ve biçimi ise çalışmanın en önemli kısmını oluşturduğundan, kapsamlı bir araştırma ile farklı kaynaklardan derlenen tanımlara yer verilmiştir.`Kavramsal Sanat' ın oluşumunu etkileyen sanatlar bölümünde ise, özellikle Modernizm olarak algılanan dönemin toplum ve sanatta meydana getirdiği değişimler incelenmiş ve bu dönem içersinde gelişen sanatların Kavramsal Sanat'ı etkileyen yönlerinden özellikle Dadaizm ve Duchamp'ın etkisi, sanatın `düşünsel' olarak algılanmasında en önemli yere sahip oluşundan, detaylı bir anlatımı yapılmıştır. Ayrıca Duchamp' ın hazır-nesneyle ilgili anlatımına da geniş yer verilmiştir. Yine Dadaizm'le birlikte Pop-Sanat, Yeni Gerçekçilik, Soyut Dışavurumculuk ve Minimal Sanat'ta `Kavramsal Sanat'ı etkileyen durumları, sanatçı ve yapıtlarından örnekler verilerek aktarılmıştır.`Kavramsal Sanat' ın ilk örneklerinin yer aldığı bölümde de; dünyadaki genel durumu incelenerek, sanatçıların yapıtlarıyla ilgili anlatımlar yapılmıştır.Yapılan araştırmalarda, `Kavramsal Sanat' ın tek bir biçimde oluşmadığını, bir çoğu aynı anda olmakla birlikte ayrı biçimler, oluşumlar, eylemler dahilinde meydana geldiği görülmüştür. Bunlar; Fluxus, Enstalasyon, Performans, Arazi Sanat'ı, Arte Povera, Video Sanat'ı gibi biçimlerdir. Bu bölümde hepsine ayrı ayrı yer verilmiş ve sanatçıların yapıtlarıyla ilgili detaylı anlatımlar yapılmıştır.`Kavramsal Sanat' ın Postmodernizm'in etkisindeki durumunun aktarılmaya çalışıldığı ve bu dönemin; topluma, kültürel değerlere ve sanata yansıyan etkileri ve günümüzde gelinen durumu incelenmiş, sanatçılar ve yapıtlarına yer verilmiştir.Bu çalışmada bir diğer önemli bölüm ise `nesne' ve `estetik'in yer aldığı bölümdür. Nesnesini, felsefe ve dille oluşturan `Kavramsal Sanat' ın her iki olgu karşısındaki durumu farklı kaynaklardan yararlanılarak incelenmiş ve aktarılmıştır.Duchamp hazır-nesneyi, sanat eseri olarak sunduğu dönemde, bir çok tepki ve eleştiri almıştı; sonrasında gelişen `Kavramsal Sanat'a da yönelik, eleştiriler devam etmişti. Bu bölümde, `Kavramsal Sanat' ta Eleştirel Yaklaşımlar' başlığı altında bazı kuramcıların görüş ve eleştirilerine yer verilmiştir.Son bölümünde ise Türkiye'deki `Kavramsal Sanat' ın etkileri incelenerek; Türkiye'deki gelinen boyutları, uygulanışı ve algılanışı ile ilgili bilgi verilerek bu sanatı uygulayan bazı sanatçılara yer verilmiş, yapıtların anlatımları da yapılmıştır.

This thesis, entitled `Development of Conceptual Arts?, explores Conceptual Arts as an art from which became prominent after the 1960s, and includes an in depth examination of its development over history day.First and foremost, it presents a definition of `Art? in order to ensure that the study has a firm basis from which to progress. A definition of Contemporary Art follows, forming a fundamental part of the thesis. For this l have employed various definitions from diverse sources in order to achieve the most comprehensive view.In the section which looks at the movements that have influenced the formation of `Conceptual Art?, we see how Dadaism and Duchamp play a primary role in the intellectual conception of the movement. This is why it has been explored in great detail and a great deal of attention has been given to Duchamp?s explanation of the ready-made object. Along with Dadaism, this section also pays attention to Pop Art and Minimalist Art and before moving into the next section.In the section which considers the spread of Conceptual Art, an examination of its general situation in the world is attempted, as well as an explanation of the work of some artists. The next section looks at the period of Modernism and the development of Conceptual Art under the influence this period from the 1960s through to the 1970s.This study proves that Conceptual Art has not developed into a single art from,but has been featured simultaneously among various trends and movements. Some of These include; Fluxus, Instillation Art, Performance Art, Land Art, Arte Povera and Video Art.The influences of Conceptual Art, following the 1970s, has been considered within the framework of Postmodernism. I examined the situation of Conceptual Art under the influence of Postmodernism, as well as the influences of this period on society, cultural values, and art in general. I did so by presenting a detailed view of some artists and their work.In this study, another important section is the one which deals with `objects? and Aesthetics?. Contemporary Art defines objects through philosophy and language, and therefore a varied examination of its attitudes to both objects and aesthetics is attempted here.When Duchamp presented the ready-made object as a work of art, he encountered a great deal of criticism. This criticism continued as a general reaction to Contemporary Art which developed afterwards. The section which look at the critical approaches of this period, includes the views of some theorists on Conceptual Art as well as on objects and aesthetics.The final section examines Contemporary Art?s influences in Turkey; the dimensions it has reached, as well as how it has been applied and how it has been understood in this country. It includes some examples of Turkish contemporary artists and their work.
