Özet
Bu çalışma Davis (1986) tarafından geliştirilen teknolojinin kabul ve kullanımı modelinin (TAM) ortaya koyduğu değişkenleri ele alarak, öğretmenlerin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerini (BİT) kullanımlarını ve BİT kullanma niyetini incelemektedir.Çalışmanın amacı okullarda BİT kullanımını sağlamak konusunda yol gösterici olmaktır. Bu amaçla, ögretmenlerin demografik özellikleri ve BİT'i kabul ve kullanım niyetleri cinsiyet, yaş, kıdem yılı, branş, mezuniyet yılı, bilgisayara sahip olma durumu, bilgisayar eğitimi alma durumu, bilgisayar bilme düzeyi ve eğitim düzeyi değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir.Araştırma sonucuna göre, öğretmenlerin BİT'i derslerinde kabul ve kullanma niyetleri puanlarının orta düzeyde olduğu, bilgisayara sahip olma ve bilgisayar eğitimi almış olma yüzdelerinin ise yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin bilgisayar bilme düzeylerine göre ise öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğunun bilgisayarı orta düzeyde bildikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma sonuçları öğretmenlerin BİT'i kabul ve kullanım niyetlerinin cinsiyet, bilgisayara sahip olma durumu ve bilgisayar eğitimi almış olma durumu ve bilgisayarı bilme düzeyi değişkenlerine göre farklılık gösterdiğini, yaş, kıdem yılı, branş, mezuniyet yılı ve eğitim düzeyine göre ise bir farklılık göstermediğini de ifade etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları okul yöneticileri ve bilgi teknolojileri koordinatörleri için teknoloji entegrasyonu konusunda öneriler getirmektedir.

This study investigates the teachers' tendency to use information communication technologies (ICT) based on the variables in the technology acceptance and usage model (TAM) which was developed by Davis (1986).The purpose of the study is to guide the management of ICT usage in the schools. For this purpose, the demographic characteristics of the tachers and their acceptance and tendencies in the usage of ICT were analyzed according to the variables of sex, age, year of graduation from the university, branch of the profession, and the duration in the career.As a result of the study, it is seen that the teachers have a high percentage of possesing a computer and having an education of computer usage. According to the degree of computer usage knowledge, it is found that most of the teachers were in medium-level. Also the results of the study reveal that the acceptance and tendency of the teachers to use ICT were changing based on the sex, year of graduation from the university, and the duration in the career, while they were not changing according to age or branch of the profession.The results of this study yield suggestions for the school directors and information technology coordinators about the integration of technology
