Özet
Çeşitli ülkelere mensup pek çok besteci genellikle senfonik yapıda ve değişik müzik formlarında eserler besteleyerek çoksesli müziğin gelişmesinde geçmişten bu güne önemli katkı sağlamışlardır. Senfonik orkestra yapısında ağırlık yaylı çalgılarda olmasına rağmen müziğe kazandırdıkları farklı renkler dolayısıyla üflemeli ve vurmalı çalgılarda zamanla bestecilerin vazgeçilmez çalgı grupları haline gelmiştir.Diğer yandan, bütün dünyanın, askeri bandoların atası olarak kabul ettiği Mehterhane-i Hümayun, Yeniçeri Ocağının kaldırılmasından sonra bunun yerine Avrupa ülkelerinde kullanılan orkestra türünde bandoların kurulmasına vesile olmuştur. 1831 yılında Osmanlı Padişahı II. Mahmud döneminde Mızıka-yı Hümayun oluşumu ile yayılan bando kültürünün en güzel örnekleri pek çok kurum tarafından benimsenmiştir. Bu oluşumlar serüveni içerisinde okul bandoları, polis bandoları, askeri bandolar, belediye bandoları adları altında çeşitli yapı ve karekterde müzik icra eden bu orkestralar günümüzde halen faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.Bu araştırmada çeşitli orkestra topluluklarında pikolo flütün yeri, aynı zamanda orkestralara eser üreten bestecilerin pikolo flütü eserlerinde kullanmak istediklerinde bu çalgının ses genişliği ve karakteri hakkında bilgi edinebilecekleri bir rehber niteliği içermesi amaçlanmıştır. Flüt eğitiminde de öğrencilerin pikolo flüt hakkında başvurabilecekleri bir kaynak olabilmesi için gerekli özen gösterilmiştir.Pikolo flüt, Yunanlılara ait eski bir tasarımdır, küçük silindirik bir flüt olarak altı tane delik ile yapılan, uçlarından metal bantlarla korunan bir çalgıdır. Eski Yunanlılarda ise pikolo flütün atası fifre, bir savaş çalgısı olarak kullanılmıştır. Fifre ile sergilenen iyi bir performansın insanı cesur yaptığına, her tehikeye göğüs germesine yardımcı olduğuna inanılırdı. Pikolo flütlerin atası fifre'nin, pikolo flüt açısından tarihsel gelişim süreci içersindeki bu önemi dolayısıyla araştımada fifre'ye gerekli önem ve yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca flüt ailesinin fiziksel değişiminin anlatımında resimlerle desteklenen bir yol tercih edilmiştir.Türkçe

Many compositors from various countries have contributed to the development of polyphonic music by composing music generally in the form of symphony and in different music genres. Despite the fact that stringed instruments are used predominantly in the symphonic orchestra formation, wind and percussion instruments have also become essential instrument groups for compositors due to the different colours that they add to the music.On the other hand, the Janissary Band, acknowledged as the Father of Military Bands worldwide, has contributed to the establishment of such Bands in the form of orchestra, which have been used in European countries after the abolishment of the Guild of Janissaries. The most beautiful examples of the band culture which has spread together with the establishment of Imperial Orchestra in 1831 during the reign of Otoman Sultan Mahmud II, have been adopted by many institutions. In the meantime, these orchestras, which have played music in various forms and characters under such names as school bands, police bands, military bands and municipal brands, still continue playing music today.In this research, the purpose is to touch upon the place of Piccolo in the various orchestras as well as serve as a guide for compositors who compose musical pieces for orchestras and wish to obtain information about the register and character of this instrument when they do want to use piccolo in their musical pieces. Due diligence has been shown in order for this research to be a reference guide to which students may refer about piccolo for their flute education.Piccolo flute, an ancient design which belongs to Greeks is an instrument as a small cylindrical flute made with six holes and protected with metal tape on the tip. The fife was used as a war instrument in ancient Greeks. It was believed that a good performance with the fife would render people brave and help them fight against all dangers. Due diligence and importance have been given to the fife, the father of piccolo flutes, in this research due to its importance in the historical development process in terms of piccolo flute. Besides, a method supported with images has been adopted in the narration of the physical change that the flute family has gone through.İngilizce
