Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programlarını tanıma yeterliklerini tespit etmektir. Araştırma tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Bu çalışma; giriş, kuramsal açıklamalar, ilgili araştırmalar, yöntem, bulgular, yorum, sonuç ve öneriler olmak üzere beş ana bölümden oluşmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz dönemi ve 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar dönemi Ağrı ili merkez, merkeze bağlı köy ve ilçe merkezlerinde görev yapan toplam 133 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma iki safhadan oluşmaktadır. Birinci safhası ankettir. Anket yoluyla toplanan veriler 22 maddeden oluşmuştur. Maddelerden üçü öğretmenleri tanımaya yönelik diğerleri ise programa yöneliktir. İkinci safha ise yarı yapılandırılmış gözlem (mülakat) formudur. Gözlem formu, 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılı belirtilen yerleşmeler kapsamında bulunan ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan ve basit rastgele örnekleme yoluyla seçilen toplam 8 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış gözlem (mülakat) yoluyla toplanan veriler 2 bölümden oluşmuştur. Birinci bölüm kişisel bilgilerden (3 madde) ikinci bölüm ise 5 açık uçlu sorudan oluşmuştur. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programı baz alınarak hazırlanan anketin pilot uygulamasında 19 soruya verilen cevapların SPSS 16.0 paket programı kullanılarak KR-20 güvenilirlik katsayısının analizi sonucu 0,71 bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin hizmet içi eğitime katılım oranının oldukça düşük olduğu, öğretim program ve Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programı hakkında öğretmenlerin yarıya yakınının bilgi sahibi olduğu, geriye kalan yarısının ise öğretim programını yeteri kadar tanımadıkları belirlenmiştir. Öğretim programının iyi uygulanabilmesi ve amacına ulaşabilmesi için programın tüm boyutlarıyla çok iyi tanınması gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin programı tanıma düzeyleri yeterli görülmeyip geliştirilmesi tavsiye edilebilir. Aynı zamanda kavramlar ile ilgili Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin eksiklikleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The purpose of this study is to determine the Social Sciences teachers' adequateness level of acknowledgement of Social Sciences Curriculum. The study is a descriptive survey model. Thıs study was constituted of five main sections: introduction, hypothetical explanations, related studies, method, findings, comments and suggestions. The sample of the study is formed with 133 Social Sciences teachers who worked in Ağri city center, districts and villages closer to the city center in 2011-2012 fall term and 2012-2013 spring term. Study is composed of two steps. The first step is questionnaire. The data collected through questionnaire consists of 22 items. The three of the items are to know the teachers and the others are for curriculum. The second step is semi-structured observation (interview) form. Observation form is applied to 8 Social Sciences teachers who worked in the primary schools which are in the signified settlings in 2012-2013 educational years and they are selected with simple random sampling method. The data collected through semi-structured observation (interview) is constituted of 2 sections. The first section consists of personal information (3 items) and the second section consists of 5 open ended questions. SPSS 16.0 was used in the analysis of the answers to the 19 question in the questionnaire, which was prepared based on the Social Sciences curriculum at pilot application and Cronbach Alph-20 reliability coefficient was found as 0,71. After the study, on evaluating the obtained data according to the results, it was determined that the participation rate of Social Sciences teachers to in-service training is quite low, half of Social Sciences teachers have information about curriculum and Social Sciences curriculum, the other half of the teachers do not have enough information about the curriculum. The curriculum should be well known with its all dimensions to be applied well and to be successful. Thus, it can be suggested that the Social Sciences teachers? acknowledgement level of curriculum should not be considered sufficient and should be improved. Also, it was determined that the Social Sciences teachers have some shortcoming in terms.
