Özet

Bu araştırmada, Kars ili merkezinde ilköğretim okullarında öğrenim gören ikinci kademe öğrenciler ve derslere giren öğretmenlerin beden eğitimi dersinden beklentileri ve tutumları araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kars ilindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığa bağlı ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 31 beden eğitimi öğretmeni ve bu okullarda öğrenim gören 1007 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise, Kars ili merkezin de görev yapan beden eğitimi öğretmenleri ile bu okullarda öğrenim gören 6.7.8?inci sınıflardan rastgele seçilen öğrencilerden oluşturulmuştur. (Araştırmaya katılacak öğrenciler belirlenirken her okul için; okul mevcudunun % 10?u alınmış, bunlar içinden de her bir sınıf için, % 10 erkek ve % 10 kız öğrenci rastgele yöntemle seçilmiştir.) Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında iki farklı veri toplama aracından faydalanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin tutumlarının ölçülmesi için Demirhan ve Altay (2001) tarafından geliştirilen, ilk ve orta öğretim öğrencileri üzerinde kullanılan, 12?si olumlu, 12?si olumsuz olmak üzere toplam 24 maddeden oluşan Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Anket formundaki maddelerin öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenebilmesi için belirlenen dereceler ve sayısal değerler esas alınarak elde edilen aritmetik ortalama değerleri; Hiç: 1.00?1.74, Az: 1.75?2.49, Kısmen: 2.50?3.24 ve Tamamen: 3.25? 4.00 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu değerlere göre her bir madde için hesaplanan aritmetik ortalamalar değerlendirilerek, yeni Beden Eğitimi Öğretimi Programı?nın belirlenen alt boyutlarına uygunluğu konusunda öğretmen görüşlerindeki genel kanı belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde, SPSS 15.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada il merkezindeki okullarda spor salonlarının yetersiz olduğu, öğrenciler beden eğitimi dersine karşı aşırı ilgili olduğu, öğretmenlerin göreve yeni başlamış öğretmenlerden oluştuğu, öğretmenlerin genelinin kendini alanında yeterli gördüğü, ders işlenen sınıfların fazla kalabalık olmadığı, öğrencilerin ilerleyen eğitim dönemlerinde de beden eğitimi dersini almak istedikleri, öğretmenlerinin çoğunun kısmen de olsa uygulanan eğitim - öğretim programında ki kazanımlara ulaştığı ve öğrencilerin derse katılımının üst düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The purpose of this research, is to learn the expectations and manners of the public school teachers toward Physical Education Lessons they enter at the second level of the elementary schools. In this research 31 Physical Education teachers and 1007 students take place. These students and teachers are choosen from the city of Kars between the years 2011 ? 2012 working at the public schools connected to the Ministry of Education of this city. The samples of this research which are Physical Education teachers and students taken randomly from the 6?th, 7?th and 8?th classes are choosen from all schools in Kars city. (All people that take place in this research, %10 of the number of the students that have their education in that shcool are taken as samples for this research and for each school %10 of the students are girls and %10 are boys who are taken randomly. ) When research data is gathered there are used two different data gathering tools. For measuring the manner of students it is used the Manner Measurin Scale of Demirhan and Altay (2001) which has 12 positive and 12 negative matters which in total has 24 matters of the Physical Educational and Sports Manner Measuring Scale. To make it possibles to analyse the manners of teachers according to the matters that take place in questionnaire, grades and values are used to determine the mathematical means like; None: 1.00?1.74, Little: 1.75?2.49, Partly: 2.50?3.24 ve Completely: 3.25? 4.00. According to these values for each matter it is found the mathematical mean and it is analysed so that to find if the new Physical Educational Programme and its under scales of this programme is appropriate according to teachers. Teachers responses are evaluated according to this. The data obtained analysis, SPSS 15.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) package program was used. In this research it is found that gyms in schools in the centre of city are not sufficient, students are really interested in Physical Education Lessons, teachers have newly started work, teachers moslty see themselves sufficient in their fields for the work they do, classes of the Physical Education are not crowded, students want to take Physical Education Lessons in their future education, most of the teachers say that they can achicve their aims in their programmes during the school terms and the attendance of students is in the maximum level.
