Özet
Bu tez, ikisi açıklama ikisi de temel bölüm olmak üzere toplam dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş bölümüdür. İkinci bölümde temel kavramlar ve yaklaşım teoremleri verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde de Bernstein polinomunu esas alan Bernstein-Stancu ve Schurer-Stancu tip operatörler ile bazı yaklaşım özellikleri incelenmiş olup, bu operatörlerin süreklilik modülü yardımıyla sürekli fonksiyonlara yaklaşım hızı üzerine teoremler ispatlanmıştır. Dördüncü bölüm ise tartışma ve sonuç bölümüdür.
Özet (Çeviri)
This thesis is constituted of four chapters: two of which are introductory and the other two are on the main issues discussed. The first chapter offers an introduction. The second chapter exposes the basic concepts, theorems and approaches taken for granted in the application of this work. In the third part, Bernstein- Stancu and Schurer-Stancu type operators that are based on Bernstein polynomials are used to analyse some convergences. Furthermore, the theorems on these operators rate of convergence to continuous functions through modulus of continuity are proven. The last chapter is on conclusion.
