Özet
Bu çalışmada eğitimde mizah ve karikatür materyalleri kullanılarak yapılan öğretim, geleneksel materyaller kullanılarak yapılan öğretim ile başarı ve motivasyon açısından karşılaştırılarak incelenmiştir. Uygulamada araştırmacı tarafından fen ve teknoloji uzmanlarından ve öğretmenlerinden görüş alınarak konu ile ilgili 14 adet karikatür çizilmiş ve öğrencilere her konu sonunda bu karikatür etkinlikleri uygulanmış ayrıca süreç içinde öğretmen, dersi mizahi hikâye ve örneklerle anlatmış ve bu uygulamaların öğrencilerin başarı ve motivasyonlarına olan etkileri incelenmiştir. In this study, teaching with humour and caricature was examined by comparing it to teaching with traditional materials in terms of success and motivation. During the implementation process, 14 caricatures were drawn by the researcher taking opinions of science and technology experts and teachers; the students were given these caricatures at the end of every lesson; the teacher used humourous anectodes and examples during the process and the effects of these activities on the success and the motivation of the students were examined. In this study, the Science and Technology lesson of the 7th classes in the primary school was taken as a sample. The topic of the lesson was limited to the unit
