Özet
Mimariye bağlı süsleme sanatlarında kullanılabilecek tüm malzeme ve süsleme çeşitlerinin, daha öncesinde görülmedik bir zenginlikte bir araya getirildiği Bursa?daki Yeşil Camii, bu bakımdan erken Osmanlı döneminin en önemli yapılardan birini oluşturmaktadır. Bu anlamda Yeşil Cami?nin süslemeleri hakkında yapılan çalışmaların yeterli düzeyde olmadığı kanaatine varılmış ve söz konusu yapının süsleme programı, tez çalışması olarak belirlenmiştir. Yapının süsleme programını oluşturan malzeme ve süsleme özelliklerinin detaylı olarak tanıtılmasının dışında, çalışmanın temel amacı doğrultusunda, konuyu oluşturan süslemelerin büyük bir bölümü çizimlerle belgelenmiş, süslemeyi oluşturan kompozisyonlar yine çizimlerle desteklenerek çözümlemeleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca Yeşil Cami?deki başlıca süsleme çeşidi olan bitkisel kompozisyonları oluşturan motifler, gruplandırılıp bir araya getirilerek yapının motif dağarcığı ortaya konmuştur. Yapının süsleme programında önemli bir yer tutan çini süslemeler, ayrı bir tez çalışmasının konusunu oluştursa da bu çalışmada, yapıdaki çinilerin teknik özellikleri ve tarihi gelişimi hakkında genel bilgiler verilerek kompozisyon çözümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böylelikle Türbesi ile birlikte Yeşil Cami?nin süslemeleri, genel olarak değerlendirilebilmiş ve birbiriyle olan ilişkileri tespit edilebilmiştir. Yapının madeni süslemeleri de kapsamlı bir çalışma olarak ele alındığı için çalışmaya sınırlarına dâhil edilmemiştir. Bu bakımdan, taş malzeme başta olmak üzere ahşap, kalem işi ve alçı malzeme üzerine işlenen süsleme programı, araştırmamızın temel konularını oluşturmuştur. Yeşil Cami?nin şimdiye kadar geçirdiği onarımlar hakkında, ilgili kaynak ve belgeler ışığında bilgiler verilerek onarımların yapıdaki süslemeleri ne derece etkilediği değerlendirilmiş, ayrıca 2009-2012 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen restorasyon çalışmaları ve ortaya çıkarılan süslemeler konusunda, yeni bilgiler de ortaya konmuştur. Malzeme, süsleme ve kompozisyon özelliklerinin detaylı analizleri ve erken Osmanlı döneminde, süslemeleriyle öne çıkan belirli yapıların incelenmesi ile Yeşil Cami?nin süsleme programının önemini ortaya koyan özellikler: simetri anlayışı, süslemelerin uyumu, işçiliği kalitesi, kompozisyon ve motiflerin klasik nitelikleri gibi temel başlıklar altında değerlendirilmiş, elde edilen bulgular ışığında yapının Türk mimari tarihindeki yeri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

The Green Mosque in Bursa that all materials and decoration varieties can be used decoration arts depending on the architecture brought together with an unprecedented magnificence, in this respect, is one of the most important structures of the early Ottoman period. In this sense, it have been concluded that insufficient studies about how to decorate of the Green Mosque and the decoration programme of this structure have been determined as subject of thesis. Except for the introduction of the material and decorative features forming the decorative program of structure in detail, the main purpose of the study in accordance with, a large part of decorations that make up the subject have been documented with drawings, compositions forming the decoration have been analyzed by supporting with drawings also. Motifs that make up the herbal compositions that is the main varieties of decoration in the Green Mosque have been also revealed by grouping the motif repertoire of structure. The ceramic tile decorations which is an important in the decorative programme of structure, even if constitutes the subject of a separate thesis, general information about the technical characteristics and historical development of ceramic tiles in the structure have been informed and composition analyzes have been carried out. In this way, the Green Mosque decorations together with the tomb could be evaluated generally and their relations with each other could be detected. Because discussed as a comprehensive study, the metal decorations of structure have not also been include limits of the study. In this regard, the stone material especially, decoration programme was committed on, wood, stenciled and plaster material have formed the main topics of our research. In the light of the sources and documents, informations about repairs that the Green Mosque underwent so far have been given and effect of repairs on structure decorations have been evaluated. Also, about restoration work was carried out between the years 2009-2012 and discovered decorations have been put forth new informations. Detailed analysis of the material, decoration and composition features and features demonstrating importance of the decoration programme of the Green Mosque with examination of the specific structures prominent with decorations the early Ottoman period; have been evaluated under the main titles as symmetry mentality, harmony of decorations, quality of work, composition and classical characteristics of motifs. In the light of the findings, the place of the structure in Turkish architectural history have been tried to determine.
