The first chapter contains problems dealing with various kinds of group axioms and problems concerned with the existence of the elements of order p, for every prime p dividing the order of a finite group G. The second chapter consists of problems which investigates the relationship among subgroups, normal subgroups and the index of a normal subgroup and the order of a group. In the third chapter permutation groups, action groups and related problems are introduced. Furthermore as an application of action groups, Sylow theorems are proved. In this chapter the problems concerning the simlicity of the symmetric groups and alternating 0roups are included. The chapters four and five include problems about homomorphism, quotient groups and the applications of the Sylow theory to finite groups.
