ABSTRACT The aim of the thesis was to introduce both the South Slavs as the separate national identities and the Turkish Policy in the Balkans in the early 1990' s especially after the dissolution of the Socialist Federative Republics of Yugoslavia. Nationalism is the theoretical mainstay of this study as the Yugoslav Imbroglio is the result of the deep seated conflicts derived from the confrontation of the National Interests of the constituant nations. So an extensive investigation of the each constituant nation of Yugoslavia clarifies the paradoxes within the union which brought the SFRY in to the dissolution in the early 1990 's. The study is terminated with an overall Turkish view to the dissolution of the Socialist Federative Republics of Yugoslavia according to the New World Order or Disorder which is in fact a political debate concept between the Global ists and Nationalists.
