Özet
“Kontrol”adlı eserin özünde, uçuş efektleri için kullanılan bir sistemin çağdaş dansta kullanımı bulunmaktadır. 1960ların sonunda modern dansın geleneksel teori ve kavramlarının ötesine geçebilme ve dansın sınırlarını genişleterek daha da özgürleştirebilme isteği, dansı tiyatro sahnelerinin dışına taşımakla kalmamış, dansı farklı düzlem ve yerçekimsiz ortamlara kadar götürmüştür.“Hava Dansı”kavramı da ilk tohumlarını bu dönemlerde vermeye başlamıştır. Uçuş efektleri kullanımında bedenin kullanılan sistem ile olan ilişkisi büyük önem taşır. Bedenin kullanılan sistem ile yerçekimine karşı gelebilmesi, bedenin zeminde gerçekleştirmesi mümkün olmayan yeni bir hareketsel dile ulaşmasına neden olur. Dünyada özellikle Amerika' da 60' lı ve 70' li yıllar için oldukça yenilikçi olan bu araç günümüze gelindiğinde oldukça tanıdık bir malzemeye dönüşmüştür. Buna rağmen Türkiye Çağdaş Dans alanında hala pek az örneği bulunmaktadır.“Kontrol”adlı eser böyle bir tarihsel sürece sahip bir sistemden faydalanarak yaratılmış bir eserdir. Sistemi kullanan kişi ile performansçı arasındaki sağlıklı iletişim ve ilişkiyi araştıran eserin çıkış noktası bedeni oldukça kısıtlı bir duruma sokan bu sistem ile yeni bir dil oluşturma çabası olmuştur. Süreçte araştırılan ve elde edilen fiziksel malzeme kurgulanarak kompizisyonu yapılmış, bu kompozisyon müzik, video ve ışık tasarımı gibi çerçeveleme araçları ile desteklenmiş, sonuç olarak ortaya yaklaşık 40 dakika süren bir performans ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu eser metni,“Kontrol”adlı eserin yaratım süreci, çerçeveleme araçları ve eserin son geldiği nokta üzerinde durmaktadır.

The use of Aerial theatre - Aerial Dance techniques in contemporary dance is the core of the work named“Control”. At the end of the 60's the intention to extend the boundaries of modern dance techniques and the desire to go beyond the traditional theories and concepts of modern dance not only made the dance discipline go beyond the borders of the stage but also carried dance to different spatial attributes and approaches that focus on antigravity. The seeds of the concept of“Aerial Dance”started to emerge in this era and works that are focused on this concept started to take place in the performance world. The relationship that is established between body and the system that is used to create flying effects is utterly important. The use of the system through which the body can resist to gravity, enables the performers to attain a new language of movement. This medium, which is extremely innovative throughout the world especially in 60's and 70's, have become a familiar instrument for contemporary performances. Nevertheless, in the contemporary dance scene of Turkey, the use of the method is extremely rare.“Control”is a work that utilises the flying system which has such an historical background. The starting point of the piece that is searching for the whole communication and relationship between the person who directs the system and the performer, was the effort to create a new language by utilising this system that actually restricts the body in various ways. The physical material that is the outcome of the process is reconstructed and choreographed and this composition is reframed by music, video and lighting design. As a result, the performance with a duration of 30 minutes is created. This text explains the creation process, framing tools of the choreography of the work named“Control”and the recent situation of the performance.
