Özet
Bu araştırmada, 22 Mart 1926 tarihinde 789 sayılı kanunun 28 Mart 1926 gün ve 3393 sayılı yönetmeliği gereğince bakanlığın en yakın ilmi danışma organı olarak kurulan Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu'nun 1926-1968 yılları arasında tarih eğitimi ile ilgili aldığı kararların tespiti ve değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aranmıştır; 1. TTKB'nin Tarih ders müfredatları ile ilgili kararları nelerdir? 2. TTKB'nin Tarih ders kitapları ile ilgili kararları nelerdir? 3. TTKB'nin Tarih eğitiminin geliştirilmesi ile ilgili kararları nelerdir? 4. TTKB'nin onayı ile tarih tahsili için Avrupa'ya öğrenci gönderilmesi ve bu öğrencilerin tahsil planları ile ilgili kararları nelerdir? 5. TTKB'nin Türk İnkılap Tarihi eğitimi alanında faaliyet gösteren İnkılap Tarihi Enstitüleri ile ilgili kararları nelerdir? 6. TTKB'nin Tarih eğitimi ile ilgili diğer kararları nelerdir? Araştırmanın evreni TTK'nın 1926 yılında kuruluşundan günümüze aldığı tüm kararlardır. Örneklemi ise TTK'nın 1926-1968 yılları arasında tarih eğitimi ile ilgili aldığı kararlardır. Araştırmada nitel veri toplama yöntemlerinden birisi olan“Doküman İncelemesi”veri toplama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, verilerin yazılı kaynak ve arşiv belgelerinden elde edilmesi ve tarihsel nitelikli bir çalışma olması nedeniyle literatür taraması modelindedir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular şunlardır; - TTK tarafından tarih dersi müfredatları ile ilgili alnınan kararlar eğitim kademeleri, okulların özellikleri, devlet okulu, özel okul, yabancı okullar, azınlık okulları gibi değişkenlere göre farklılıklar göstermiştir. - Siyasi yönelimler ve askeri müdahaleler tarih eğitimine yansımıştır. - Müfredat programlarındaki değişiklikler tarih ders kitaplarında da sık sık değişikliğe neden olmuştur. - TTK tarih eğitimine yardımcı olmak üzere ilgili diğer kurumlarla birlikte çeşitli eğitim materyalleri geliştirmiştir. - TTK'nın da onayı ile tarih eğitimi için devlet tarafından yurtdışına öğrenciler gönderilmiştir. - TTK Ankara Üniversitesi Dil Tarih ve Coğrafya Fakültesi bünyesinde kurulan Türk İnkılap tarihi Enstitüsü'nün kuruluş çalışmalarında etkin rol oynamıştır. - TTK önemli bazı tarihi olayların yıldönümü kutlamaları ile ilgili çalışmalar yapmıştır. - TTK ulusal eğitimin oluşmasında tarih eğitimini önemli bir araç olarak görmüş ve tarih eğitimi ile ilgili çalışmalara önem vermiştir.

In this research, it is intended the determination and evaluation of decisions that the Board of Education which was established on 22 March 1926 as the nearest scientific advisory body of the ministry based on regulation no 3393 and the day March 28, 1926 of the Law No. 789 had made between the years 1926-1968 relating to the historical education. In this study, an answer is looked for the following questions: 1. What are the decisions of the Board of Education about curricula of history course? 2. What are the decisions of the Board of Education about history textbooks? 3. What are the decisions of the Board of Education about development of history education? 4. What are the decisions of the Board of Education about sending of student to Europe for the study of history and study plans for these students? 5. What are the decisions of the Board of Education about Institutes of History of Turkish Revolution activating on the education of History of Turkish Revolution? 6. What are the other decisions of the Board of Education about the education of history? The scope of the study is all the decisions of the Board of Education since its establishment in 1926. Its sample is the decisions that the Board of Education had made between 1926-1968 for the education of history. Document analysis, which is one of the qualitative data collection methods is used as a data collection method. The research is a model of review of the literature because the data was acquired from archival documents and written sources, and it is a work of historical character. The findings of the study are like following: - The decisions had been made by the Board of Education on history lesson curricula change in accordance with the differences such as levels of education, features of schools, and public schools, private schools, foreign schools, minority schools. - Political trends and military interventions reflected to the history education. - The changes in curriculum programs, often led to a change in history textbooks. - The Board of Education has developed various educational materials with other institutions to help history education. - With the approval of The Board of Education, students were sent abroad by the government for the teaching of history. - The Board of Education has played an active role in the establishing activities of The Institute of The History of Turkish Revolution which was established within the body of Ankara University Faculty of Language, History and Geography. - The Board of Education has made works on the anniversary celebrations of some important historical events. - The Board of Education has seen the education of history as an important tool for the formation of national education, and gave importance to the works about education of history.
