Özet
Engellilik oranın yüksek olduğu ülkemizde, istihdam engelliler için de önemli bir sorundur. Engelli personel çalıştırma zorunluluğu bulunmasına rağmen, hem engellilerin iş gücüne katılma oranı, hem de istihdam oranı düşüktür. Belediyeler engelliler için büyük bir istihdam kapısıdır. Türkiye genelinde belediyelerde çalışan engelli personelin, demografik, eğitim, ücret yapısının yanında bu personelin gerek iş hayatında gerekse çalıştıkları ortamda ve özlük hakları konusunda sorunları bu çalışmanın kapsamında yer almaktadır. Çalışma alan araştırması yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Çalışma ile engelli personelin istihdam imkanlarının azlığının yanı sıra bazı işyerlerinden ve bireylerden kaynaklanan sorunlar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sorunların çözülmesi halinde engelli çalışan ve bireyler için daha iyi bir yaşam sunulabilecektir.

Our country is high rate of disability, employment is a significant problem for the disabled. Despite the requirement to employ disabled staff, and labor force participation rate of disabled people, as well as the employement rate is low. Employment for disabled people is a major gateway to the municipalities. Disabled staff working in the municipalities in Turkey, demographic, education, income besides the structure of the personnel working in both business and personal rights and about the problems of life are within the scope of this study. The study was conducted with the research method. Lack of employment opportunities for disabled staff, as well as have a few problems caused by workplace hazards and some manmade environment by this study. If these problems are solved with disabilities will be offered a better life for employees and individuals.
