In this thesis we construct a function space vs consisting of smooth orientation preserving diffeomorphisms of the real line. We show that it is a Frechet-Lie-group under composition. Moreover we consider a family of weak Riemannian metrics vk on it and show that their exponential maps erpk give for k≥1 smooth local charts of t he identity.
