This is a comprehensive study related to urban regeneration, its policies and purposes, and illustrating key aspects of its evolutionary perspective with some assumptions. İt offers critical approaches to urban regeneration in the UK with the perspective of, how design contributes regeneration and which challenges take place vvhile doing this, socially-inclusive phenomenon and sustainable communities. The study also includes implementation of regeneration policies and projects in Liverpool by the role of partnerships, which are thoroughly examined, and addresses the key role of culture in executing urban regeneration and creating places by the light of music phenomenon. Consequently, the study enables researches to attain a holistic 'urban regeneration history' about Liverpool.
