Özet (Çeviri)
Social behaviour has always been a subject of interest to scientists from many different fıeld s . Even though social behaviour is a very complex and comprehensive to be fully understood , recently developed computational techniques provide a belter opportunity to understand better about social life in evolutionary, malecular and genetics level. Among social behaviours, reproductive behaviours (pa ir bonding, parental care, ete.) have always been one of the most studied subjects. Oxytocin (OXT), a cyclic nonapeptide, and its unique receptar (OXTR) play an important role in complex social and reproductive behaviours such as bonding and attachment in humans. In this study, we will try to answer questions about OXT/OXTR systems , their phylogeny, malecular evalutian and their relation with complex social behaviour systems in eutherian mammals. In order to answer these questions, 65 eutherian mammalian species for OXT and 52 eutherian mammalian species for OXTR were analysed . We evaluated evolutionary divergence rates and rates of nucleotide substitutions across these hormone and receptar genes. We present here phylogenetic, evolutionary and structural analyses results of OXT/OXTR sequences. While OXT highly conserved among eutherian mammalians, OXTR show high variation. Our results revealed that -89% of OXT sites under selective constraints and - 11% of OXT site s are u nder relaxing selection. W e fo und evidence of positive selection in OXTR, bul our results show no signs of positive seleelian in OXT. Potential functional changes were also detected. We also observed that - 20% of changes in OXTR are radical or moderately radical. Despite the fact that our study shows some signs of association between OXT/OXTR variants and socia l behavioural traits such as in between monogamy and proline at position 8 in OXT, our limited information about social lraits in these mammalian species is inadequate to reach a definitive conclusion.
